Whether he wins the American 7 or not he will be the biggest seller of American Idol’s history and then some. I want David Cook’s album now. He is what American Idol is all about. Wow, f*cking wow!!!
I am such a purist with music and I hate when they destroy songs on Idol, but I am just in awe what David Cook has done to ’80s song Lionel Richie’s Hello and Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean and brought them into the new millennium and will introduce a new generation to songs of yesteryear. I mean he still keeps the flavor, but modernizes the heck out of them!

UPDATE: I just listened to Ryan’s intro and heard that David Cook did Chris Cornell’s version of the song, but I think David Cook added even more to the song and made it more haunting and worked it out so much better…sorry Chris.
It was good but Cornell did it first. So it wasn’t as profound as everyone else thought it was. Here’s the thing with him. He’s talented and can put out a good covers album…BUT he’s nothing we haven’t heard before. The world has its Chris Cornell’s and, if we’re going AI with it, its Daughtrys.

O.K. whoever said they wanted David Cook’s album right now. He does have one called “Analog heart” that you can download on “www.davidcooktheamericanidol.com”. Go under music and just right click on the ones you want and click “save target as” and they should into to your download folder. You can also get music from his band “Axium”. I hope this is enough.
