The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that New Line is doing A Nightmare on Elm Street without Robert Englund. I hope Freddy Krueger haunts the dreams of whoever had the stupid idea to bring back A Nightmare on Elm Street without him. A Nightmare on Elm Street is all about Robert Englund and without him the movie will suck. But then again this is by the same stupid company who is also destroying Friday the 13th. Platinum Dunes stop destroying the horror classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Birds and Near Dark and create original crap that needs to go straight-to-Sci Fi. (sorry Sci Fi for the diss, but straight-to-DVD was too nice.)
BTW Platinum Dunes is Michael Bay's production company…
