Daily Mail posted a picture of the pregnant Lily Allen smoking on December 4th. Her publicist released this statement about her pregnancy:
Her spokesman said today: “I am pleased to confirm that Lily and Ed are expecting their first baby.
“The health of Lily and her child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment, but they are obviously thrilled by the news."
In her defense, she might not have known she was pregnant when that picture was taken. Let's hope we don't see her smoking again until the baby is born.
It doesn’t matter if you live in the US or the UK, smoking is bad for you and your baby….end of story. No matter your country of residence smoking results in low birth weight, upper respitory issues & countless other health problems. One thing is for sure….facts are facts.

This picture was taken on or around December 2 2007 2 weeks before Lily Allen found out she was pregnant! The new would be released on December 18. This is not a picture of her showing, as it would be too soon
She miscarried because of smoking. She already is showing in this photo. Jackie Kennedy also miscarried several times, gave birth to a still-born daughter Arabelle Kennedy, and gave birth to a baby who died in 1963 Patrick Kennedy due to smoke in his lungs. Jackie died of smoking in 1994. Let that be a lesson to all you nasty, nasty smokers out there.
The picture was taken on December 2nd 2007. No she didn’t know. Lily Allen and Ed Simons would not find out until December 12th 2007, a statement was not released, but leaked by Lily Allen herself on December 18th 2007 during an appearance on The Big Fat Quiz Show (the bum bum song)
