In a recent interview with WENN, Heather Mills was asked if she wishes the doctor could have reattached her leg, and she had this say, "(My leg) was ripped out completely, so there was like spaghetti strings (hanging down) and they couldn't re-attach it, luckily. My mother lost her leg at the same age as me in the same place, but they re-attached it… (Her leg) was hanging off by a piece of skin and they re-attached it and she died years later when she was 47 because of bad blood circulation. Anyone that has their leg ripped off, tell them to keep it off… otherwise they shove it back on, you hobble around for six, seven years on crutches, in a wheelchair, and you go, 'Just take the bloomin' think off.'" I can sort of understand what she is saying because of what happened to her mom, but I am still horrified after reading that. And just because her mom unfortunately died the way she did, does not mean everyone else who might G-d forbid be in the same circumstance would suffer the fate. I really think she needed to say this is how I feel and not generalize it for all. I think it is very irresponsible. Sorry just had to vent on that one.
