Now where is Ken Rosato??? Did Lori scare him off because she can’t get over Steve leaving? She appears very stiff when they are together on the air. It seems that she can hardly bear to turn and talk to him. It’s awful to watch. What’s going on?

Ken Rosato’s bio says that as well as him being the Ch. 7 News Teams anchorman, he is also and I quote “A Priest”? Uh oh? I don’t know if that’s a typo, a joke, or what but if that’s true well then I’ve seen it all!

How can an anchorman be a priest? After the news does he do a mass and give out the holy bread to Lori.. oh man that’s just too twilight zone for me.

There is no chemistry between Lori and Ken. Lori is very cold to him, does not respond to his jokes or kind of blow him off when he tries to be nice, but as soon as bill evans opens his mouth….she laughs or have brief conversation with him. i found the whole situation very uncomfortable for ken and painful to watch.

I get up to watch Eyewitness news in the morning. I Love Lori Bill Joe and I am getting use to Ken. I hope everything works out. They make me laugh every morning I will watch. I use to watch Eyewitness news every morning 14 years ago but then they kept changing the anchors. I hope Bill, Joe and Lori will stay until they decide they have had enough. I will watch until then. Where has ken rosato been? He wasn’t on the air all of last week and he’s not on again today?

My sweet friends, Mr. Rosato is on a well deserved vacation. And as for me not laughing at everything the guy says, you must admit that one would have to be a goofball to pull that one off. Every joke is not funny and Bill Evans is a terrific meteorologist with a good tail for comedy.

I love Ken. He is my good friend and I just feel that the jokes can come off as forced. Steve Bartelstein and Robb Hanrahann used to have the same problems with their jokes. The only true joker when he decides to tell them are Bill Evans and his friend Joe Nolan.

I love watching Eyewitness news and I think Ken is a wonderful addition to the program. He is a professional, very good looking man with lots of charm. I think Lori Stokes should be a little more appreciative and thankfull that Ken does sit beside her. She seems like she has a bad attitude all the time. Keep up the great work Ken…

I am glad Steve got canned. He was an arrogant jerk and I wish deer-eyed Lori Stokes who can’t pronounce most words and stumbles over all her words would get canned too. To look at her face first thing in the morning is more than I can bear.

I like Lori Stokes, she is beautiful, intelligent and poise. She and all the others on the morning news do such a great job. Why don’t all those who are criticizing try doing their job and we will see how good you are! Please tell me how a man who tells the news can be a priest too? I thought most priests have a church assocation or a congregation. How can a man as handsome be a priest? Hey AJ was this wedding in Livingston?

Ken Rosato is so professional and Lori stokes is embarassing. She should stop trying to be a sex kitten with the voice and smiling and just tell the news. All of that cooing over Bill Evans is also embarassing. I wonder what Mrs. Evans thinks about Lori’s flurting? Yes, Lori is a beautiful woman but if you’re going to wear such a light color foundation on your face, make sure your hands match.

10/31/08 Lori’s hair doesn’t look right. She has two different colors going on and, most conspicuously, two different GRADES. Politely put, her hair has an “un-ironed” look on the top and on the edges in front, but the longer hair is smoother. If it is a weave, which it appears to be, then her stylist, whomever she/he is, should be sure to iron the top and front of her hair to match the weave texure. The hair texture difference is magnified on camera.

I love Eyewitness News in the morning. The whole crew, Ken, Lori,Bill & Joe. I get up at 6 and I look foward to hearing their news broadcast every morning. Wow I am very shocked that Ken is also a priest, I always thought that he sort of had a thing for Lori..I love the show and everyone on it, hope they stick around for a long time.

I love Ken, and I really miss watching him, since I’m not in the U.S. anymore!
I didn’t watch EWN before Ken, so I don’t really know how it was with Steve.

I love Lori and Ken as well as Joe and Bill. They are alot better then Fox news. I used to watch Fox news and when they change their cast, I stop and I have been watching ABC news morning and evening for the past five years. And for all you jealous women that’s ragging on Lori, GET OVER IT! Weather she’s wearing a weave or not, she is still a beautiful and exotic looking woman.
I’m sure Ken is proud to be sitting next to her. I think he’s into her even though he is a priest. (He’s still a man)

Wow! You guys have to really see these news anchors in action. They work so hard and put in so many hours on Eyewitness News. I was their intern last summer, and they were very sincere in showing me how a news station runs. Ken Rosato, priest or no priest, has enough personality to be a man of the cloth as well as a news anchor.

You have to understand, news anchors have to form a relationship with the audience. A good sense of humor builds a relationship between the news anchors and the viewers.

Also, the news anchors are thick-skinned, none of your negative comments matter to them. They’ve spent years working in the field of journalism, so they’ve sen blood, gore, and tears.

I wouldn’t worry so much about Lori Stokes’s feelings getting hurt. She walks with confidence and knows who she is.

After working with them, as a summer intern I was welcomed with open arms. I owe them a lot of thanks because they made me realize that I can accomplish anything, during my period of self-doubt. All of you guys are viewers, so you should understand that they are people too. They never left me out of meetings, or put on any airs. They are very down to earth.

As a professional woman myself, I feel that Lori Stokes is a role model for all women today. Being a working single mother is difficult enough, but she makes it look easy, which I’m sure it isn’t. She has the grace and charm that balances well with her male counterparts on the set. With all the horrible news that is reported daily, somehow Lori makes the world more tolerable to live in with her gentle comments and consistent positive outlook. As for Lori’s hair (what’s the matter with some of you jealous people?), I think it looks fabulous! It is beautifully shiny and streaked with gorgeous high lights….very becoming to such a sweet face. Lori, how do you get your hair so smooth & sleek? Having the same type of hair, I would love to do the same….

I just read over peoples comments, and whoever has been trashing on the newscast really needs to grow up and get over themselves. I’m sorry that you are that jealous that you feel the need to blog about it? Anyways, I love ken, lori,bill and joe and I wish them luck!

I know Ken personally, went to school with the man and was a good friend of his. Ken and I were raised in a strict Catholic school environment and if you ask me the school we went to was more like a seminary prep than a grade school. I wanted to be a priest too, but I untangled that web with years of therapy. I would say that Ken probably didn’t go the therapy route as we know beautiful looking people often get stuck with a narcississtic thorn or two when they fall from the Rose stem… To answer the priest question, Ken has a home with a church built in and he does give out the Holy Eucharist to a small congregation. He ‘cannot’ get married (I asked him), I tried to hook him up with a girl and he told me “I am a priest”. To be honest, I thought how can someone be an ‘anchor man’ and then be a ‘priest’. I guess ABC didn’t mind and I guess the church didn’t mind, but undoubtedly the combination of the two do represent quite a different path. I want to knwo if there is a guy out there who is a brain surgeon and on the weekend drives a taxi in the Bronx? That would beat Ken’s combo!

Willy I am glad you cleared that up! I got to meet Ken twice this past summer and he is such a nice man! Actually the entire ABC crew is really nice. I wish he was not a priest because I would have loved to have hooked up with him! If I new which church he was handing out the Holy Eucharist I would certainly show up!

Lori is just annoying at time - it seem as if she trying to hard for attention especially from Ken. Advice for Ken do not give up your religious .. you will not be happy being the fourth wheel. I believe once Lori said her ex-husband was at the house cooking. That will tell you how close a bond they have and you will never be able to break that - it’s a RED LIGHT from the start.

He is a priest, but in the Byzantine Catholic Church. They allow priests to have secular jobs as well.

Lori Stokes’s behavior is disgusting. Yes, she disrespects, and ignores Ken but kisses Bill Evan’s ass. She fawns all over him like an unprofessional whore.
I’ve said this for years. What I can’t understand is why she isn’t canned. Who the hell is she sleeping with that keeps her as an A.M. anchor? And yes, it is very obvious that she is wearing a weave. The top is a nappy, kinky mess. It sits up off of her head like a helmet, and the rest of the weave is straight and shining like shiny plastic doll hair. She also speaks with a speech impediment, and her makeup is clownish. She has 2 red circles for blush, and purple patches on her eyelids. She is just a mess all the way around.

I like Ken and I hope he do not go out his faith for the temptation of a woman .. Keep it professional and keep it clean. Live and learn by other mistakes and you will be fine. They once said what do you think about poor people and the answer was don’t be one of them. The same thing with crossing the line at work or whatever - it never last and ends ugly.

I jut want to say that being an Anchor is a dufficult job. You can’t even imagine the work that is involved in what they do. I think that Ken, Lori, Bill and Joe Nolan are all excellent at thier craft. Lori is beautiful and professional.
