Thirteen months after Valerie Harper announced that she had a rare form of terminal brain cancer, she told
Closer Magazine that she is cancer-free. Even though doctors told her cancer was incurable, she beat the odds. They’re just as happy about the results as she is.
A year ago she was given just months to live, and now her doctors don’t want to see her for another 2 months.
What a miraculous story and so inspirational too.
UPDATED: Valerie Harper was doing press today for her 2 episode arc on Hallmark’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered that airs starting this Sunday at 8- and she wanted to clarify the story that appeared in Closer Magazine. The actress said, “In response to a recent erroneous quote concerning my health, I am not ‘absolutely cancer-free.’ I wish I were. Right now what I am is cautiously optimistic about my present condition and I have hope for the future.â€
