Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show is going off the air after this summer because Telepictures won’t be bringing Anderson Live back for a third season according to The New York Times.
Telepictures released this statement about cancelling the show, “We are extremely proud of Anderson and the show that he and the entire production team have produced. While we made significant changes to the format, set and produced it live in its second season, the series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become increasingly difficult to break through. We will continue to deliver top-quality shows throughout next summer.”
Now that Anderson is no longer attached to the daytime show via a Warner Bros. subsidiary, the same company that owns CNN, I am wondering if he will take the opportunity to jump off of CNN’s sinking ship and go to a network where he can by seen by more than a million people every night. When Anderson 360 actually gets a million viewers.
