Jason Donovan, Liza Minelli’s ex-husband David Gest and Cherie Blair’s half sister Lauren Booth are starring in the sixth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here – and the former Neighbours star is favourite to win. The names heading into the Australian jungle include former Busted star Matt Willis and ex-Hear’Say singer Myleene Klass. The others are Heart FM DJ and TV presenter Toby Anstis, comedienne and impersonator Faith Brown, fashion designer Scott Henshall, former news reader Jan Leeming and Footballers’ Wives and The Bill actress Phina Oruche. Gest, 48, whose union to Minnelli is yet to officially end due to a lengthy divorce battle, confessed that he had not done the dishes in 25 years and asked: "How am I gonna cope without a maid?" He said he is considering returning to his singing career when he leaves the jungle. The show’s Executive producer Richard Cowles promised that there would be big surprises in store. He said: "The celebrities have always felt that the one thing they had on their side in camp was each other – but this year there won’t necessarily be safety in numbers. "There is one big, never before seen surprise for the celebrities and whether it’s a welcome one remains to be seen. With a few twists as well as some of the best Bushtucker trials seen yet, the celebrities certainly have a challenge ahead. We are really excited to see how things unfold." The new series begins next Monday at 9pm.
I am sure he will be the first person voted out!
