as a 40 yr old woman, chill…..two kids, a tour heavy cosmetics, and fillers, etc. personally I like when she smiles w/out showing more gum than teeth. I’ve got a kid, not near the $$, and w/o work and tons of make-up i get i.d. for beer. Letter grow old gracefully, do you wanna another madonna?

There is nothing wrong with her, it’s just the lipstick change. The woman looks great, especially considering she just turned 40, right?

ditto, hailei - she’s without her signature lipstick, healthy but thin, and (gasp) getting older and having had and running around after 2 small children. imagine red lips and i’m sure you’d be back to admiring the Amazingness that is Gwen. or count yourself lucky that apparently you think you’ll never mature…

Almost a butterface… I wouldn’t have recognized her either without being told who she was. She looks like one of those girls from The Hills or Girls Next Door who I never know the name of.

Sorry Gwen I know it’s just aging and you’re just following the latest fashion trend.

Its just the lipstick….always see her with the red lipstick….still looks like her.

She was never attractive to begin with … that is why she had to go with the “glam” look for so long, to cover up the fact that she is :::yawn::: AVERAGE looking. Now, she looks like every other Hollywood plastic/Botox freak, sans her “trademark” red lipstick.

Her eyes seem kind of dark and puffy. Maybe she had a slight cold or hadn’t gotten enough sleep. Add her trademark red lipstick, some Preperation H to firm up her eyes and concealer to cover the coon circles and she’d look the way we’re accustomed to seeing her: absolutely unbelievably amazing! Gwen’s inner beauty would shine through even if she lost her surface looks. Can’t say that about too many celebrities.

It seems to be a combination of weight loss and the wrong choice of makeup..primarily the wrong base color and dark eyeshadow/liner. She is most attractive with her light skin and very little color on eyes and more distinct lip color.

Ridiculous! She looks the same! She is without her lipstick and is trying a different look. In no way does she look like The Girls Next Door, Carrie Underwood, or Christina Aguilera….I am a huge fan of her beauty, style, and music…Just leave her alone….She is nearly perfect, so this is what you come up with??!!

The poor thing doesn’t seem to realize that her dress got hung up in her pantyhose.

All she did was hire a better makeup artist. I think it works for her. But really that’s all i see here.

Do any of these celebrities honestly think they look better after they have had some procedures done? Turning 40 would not make me quit listening to her music, loss of confidence, narcissim, and the mistaken belief that she needs a plastic face to stay pertinent will.

I think that for ONCE,she looks normal.SH\he doesn’t have layers of freakish makeup on and freakier clothes. Maybe motherhood is turning her normal.

She looks tired as hell, and stressed out, she from what I have read is always the most stressed by relationship woes, but shes a mother of 2 kids now, Yes shes human folks.

She looks like Carrie Underwood a little bit if Underwood shifted to a dance pop direction with her music instead of the usual country. But that’s part of being older; she’s going to have to stay consistent with her appearance even though she turned 40 recently. She still looks great; maybe she’s tired after that summer tour with No Doubt and handling those kids and being with Gavin, her husband a lot.

its definitely the hair and makeup. without her red lips and pulled back blonde hair she looks like everyone else in hollywood.

No RED lipstick makes her look a bit “long in the tooth”. And that dress is making her look “long in the boobs”. (LOL) But she’s still one of my favs!
