[ # ] Colin Egglesfield talks about Melrose Place!
September 9th, 2009 under Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place

Last night was the premiere of Melrose Place on The CW and we learned just how hot the chef played by Colin Egglesfield is. Seriously he isn’t only heating things up in the kitchen, but he is also heating them up on the small screen. So is TV’s hottest cook, really one off-camera? He told me that is all the act. Darn…
And talking about his acting, at the end of the pilot we saw him burning some clothes in the alley which is pretty incriminating. He couldn’t tell me too much about what he was trying to destroy, but he did tell us to watch because it will be explained very soon. I can tell you in the next episode we will learn more about his connection to Sydney and we find out more about his personality. We will learn if he is a good guy or a bad one? Which one do you think he is?
Another thing that will happen soon, is in the third episode we will get a new landlord to replace the late Sydney. When I asked him about the new landlord, he told me how awesome it would be if the old one Heather Locklear, who is rumored to be in negotiations to guest star, would return to her old address. I can tell you Heather is not the new landlord, but I can’t tell you anymore than that. Being the only new cast member who watched Amanda cause her havoc on the show, he told me that the show has something that the fans of the original one will love, but it also has something that will appeal to the newer fans. After watching the first two episodes, I can tell you he is 100% correct with his assertion. It has something for any Melrose fan!
So as I wrapped my interview up, I had to ask him about his old show All My Children moving to LA. And he told me that is excited that his buddy Aiden Turner will be moving out here, but that he is all kinds of trouble! I can’t wait to see what type of trouble these two get into when he gets out there!!! But until then we will just have to watch what type of trouble he gets into every Tuesday night on The CW’s Melrose Place at 9p. Looking at him in the above interview you can tell it is going to be good in a bad bad way!!!
On a side note, Colin has a really freaking cool T-Shirt line called Shout Out! and you have to see how brilliant they really are because I can’t give them justice trying to explain them here on the blog. Let’s just say you will wonder why someone didn’t come up with the idea sooner and you will totally want at least one for yourself. Plus they make an awesome present, and it will be the gift that people will be talking about long after give them one.
