[ # ] Vince Neil disses Axl Rose again
August 20th, 2009 under Axl Rose

It has been over 20 years since Motley Crue’s Vince Neil and Guns N’ Roses Axl Rose began to openly hate each other, and their feud has been silent almost as long…until now. According to Jam!, Vince is bashing Axl again and I so agree with Vince this one. When he was asked about Guns N’ Roses much anticipated dud Chinese Democracy, he had this to say…

Neil says, “For that (album) to fail was pretty crazy after so many years of being recorded.”
And the Motley Crue star is opening up about what he suggests is unprofessionalism on Rose’s part, adding, “A buddy of mine went to go play guitar for him. They rehearsed for three months and Axl never once turned up. Rule number one: show up!
“He’s been doing that for many years. Finally I think the fans just went, ‘F**k it - can’t do this anymore.’ You can’t be a fan when you can’t see the band.”

I doubt Axl will have anything to say about this because we haven’t heard him once defend that piece of crap album since it was a colossal failure. That and I think Vince could so take him now with barely effort.

Vince makes a strong point and it’s no secret that Axl is pretty much bi-polar at best. Not promoting his album and falling (even further) off the face of the Earth once it launched was bizarre, even for him. Still, that doesn’t negate the fact that it was a very solid record. Hardly a “piece of crap”.

A lot of people wanted to like that album.. nobody I know really did though. I had it replaying for a while, and there were a couple of tracks that grow on you, but it was just an odd grouping of songs.

Considering it was entirely whatever Axl wanted, even if it meant changing band members or anything necessary to fit his vision, it deserves to be taken as a personal failure by him that it vanished from the charts shortly after release. Even a mediocre rock album would’ve been better received.

He made it be all about him, and so it is.

Neil said it best. The fans finally said “enough”. Hell even a dog will finally hit the road and find a new dog house after they have been neglected forever. It wasn’t a crap album, but it just kinda left you wondering what was the wait all about.

I agree with the other comments. The album is not a crap album. You can’t compare anything to Appetite, that’s a masterpiece in rock history. But a lot of what a lot of people only know is Appetite, Jungle, Sweet Child, Paradise City, etc. Overall more like an Axl solo project which I do like, but defiantely not the original Guns.

chinese democracy is a work of art, if you don’t get it fine, you don’t have to, not everyone likes everything. Anyone comparing it to Appetite for Destruction is crazy, if AXL was still making the same music he’s was making 20 years ago, you same people would shit on him for that.

Chinese democracy is NOT a crap album, it wasn’t even a commercial failure. It may have dropped off the chart, but to this day has sold 5 million copies!!
