Billy Joel has separated from Katie Lee Joel according to
The National Enquirer.
“After nearly five years of marriage Billy Joel and Katie Lee Joel have decided to separate. This decision is a result of much thoughtful consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends with admiration and respect for each other.”
The mag also says that the final call was her relationship with Yigal Azrouel, a handsome 36-year-old Israeli-born fashion designer. They claim Billy Joel told her to end it, but she wouldn’t. They added his friends told him, while he was on tour, that she was up to no good with him.
As of now we don’t know what ended their marriage, but I wonder if the fact that he is 60 and she is 27 played into it. That is a mighty big age difference.
