Jennifer Garner isn’t happy with People’s cover story
May 31st, 2017 under Ben Affleck/Jennifer Garner. [ Comments: none ]

Celebrities love to be on the cover of People, but Jennifer Garner is not one of them. They did a story about her life after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck and made it seem like she did a sitdown interview with them. Only problem is she did not. Therefore, she took to Facebook to tell her side of the story.

It has been brought to my attention that there is a People magazine cover and article out today that appear to be coming from me. It isn’t unusual for me to receive calls from loved ones thinking I forgot to tell them I am pregnant–with twins!–(Geez Louise), but those are so ridiculous they’re easy to ignore.

This isn’t a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom’s garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight:

I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorize this article.

While we are here, for what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete.

Have a beautiful day,

Love,
Jen

It is interesting that People went that route because there are so many other stories they could have used for the cover. Instead of using a story full of sources and not the actress herself.

Big Star Little Star is a huge star!!!
May 31st, 2017 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Remember The Newlywed Game, where newlyweds showed us how well they knew each other via personal questions? Well Big Star Little Star, that debuts on USA Network tonight at 9p, is like that, but with celebrities and their kids instead of couples who recently got married. Which means we will get to know the celebrities better than we ever thought because their kids don’t yet know that there isn’t stuff they shouldn’t reveal on national television about their parents. Like which celebrity takes a poop every day at 7:30a like clockwork.

Cat Deeley hosts the game show and the new mom has as much with the children as she does the adults. We on the other hand have as much watching them as they have fun playing the game.

On tonight’s season premiere it is Todd Chrisley and son Grayson vs Marissa Jaret Winokur and son Zev vs Chad Johnson and daughter Cha’iel. You already know how Todd is as parent, and Marissa makes him look like a father of the year as she explains why she let her son pee in a bottle in the car. Next week, when it is David Ross and son Cole vs Teri Polo and daughter Bayley vs Howie Dorough and son James, you will find out which parent forgot to pick up one of their kids at school. Hint it is not the one who likes to drink wine. The following week, it Kenny Smith and son Malloy vs Nicole Sullivan and son Beckett vs Gilles Marini and daughter Juliana and we will get to see one of them made up with makeup thanks to their kid. The fourth episode has Joey Fatone and daughter Kloey vs Phaedra Parks and son Ayden vs Greg Jennings and daughter Alea. One of them will have their celeb crush revealed and I happened to let that celeb know about it. Whoops! The fifth week it’s Kerri Walsh Jennings and son Joey vs Mario Lopez and daughter Gia vs Christina Milian and daughter Violet. The final week has Harold Perrineau and daughter Wynter vs Brooke Burke and daughter Rain vs Penn Jillette and son Zolten. The stuff we learn about the stars will make you never look at the same way again. You will look at them as though they are you because this show shows us that they truly are just like us!

That is what makes Big Star Little Star so much for people of all ages. This is the family show we needed, we just didn’t know it until now! Don’t miss out on it because you truly will be missing something so very special. It will bring a smile to your face that just won’t stop. Don’t we need that right about now?

The Carmichael Show is back with a third charming season
May 31st, 2017 under The Carmichael Show. [ Comments: none ]

The Carmichael Show is finally back with all new episodes tonight at 9p on NBC. This show is not only groundbreaking, it is a well done masterpiece. Each week they tackle the biggest issues of the day, and defend it with several sides of the arguments. Even defending issues you would never think they defend. This is a show that parents should watch with their teens because it is an important teaching lesson on life.

Tonight’s first episode at 9p deals with what is rape. Maxine’s (Amber Stevens West) friend slept with a guy at a party when she was drunk and thinks she was raped. Now, the family debates was her friend sexually assaulted. Then Bobby (Lil Rel Howery) thinks that he might have raped his date from the night before because they had sex and she was drinking. Ever since they hooked up, she hasn’t returned his calls and texts, and that makes him more convinced he forced himself on her. Did he? You will just have to tune into find out with an episode that really makes you question when is it really rape?

Then at 9:30p, they take on supporting the troops. Joe (David Alan Grier) is all about it, but then he gets a test to prove how far he is willing to go. Meanwhile, when Jerrod’s enemy turns out to be a soldier, he doesn’t want to support him and that leads to family friction. When Bobby talks to that friend, he thinks about signing up for the Armed Forces. How will the Carmichaels feel about that?

Like I said this is a show that should be watched by everyone because it shows all sides of today’s issues and it really makes you think. How many shows not only make you think, but also make you laugh out loud hysterically? None and that is why you should watch!
