Before America Ferrera was part of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, she was in a dance troupe in Gotta Kick It Up! She looks the same now as she did when she was 17 in that 2002 movie.

Superstore opens its doors tonight
November 30th, 2015 under Lauren Ash, NBC, Superstore. [ Comments: none ]

Have you ever wondered if it is fun to work at a place like Walmart or Target? Well tonight at 10p on NBC, not only will Superstore proves that is but it is also really funny there.
Jonah (Ben Feldman) just got hired by Cloud 9, the best Superstore out there. As soon as he starts his job, he makes a fool of himself in front of Amy (America Ferrera). He thinks she is a costumer and says to her that he knows that he doesn’t look like someone who would work in a place like that. What he doesn’t know is that she is also an employee there who takes her job very seriously. Will he be able to get her trust back? Not when he keeps constantly screwing up.
They are just two of Cloud 9’s employees. Glenn (Mark McKinney) is the store manager and he is very Vanilla White, but he is trying to add some spice to his life. Dina (Lauren Ash) is second in charge and she is a tough nut to crack. She is very stiff, but you can tell there is a party animal ready to let loose. Garrett (Colton Dunn) gets along with everyone. Finally, there is Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) who is still in high school and pregnant. Her boyfriend and her think they will be able to raise the baby on her salary, but they are learning it might not be as easy they think. They will get a quick lesson on growing up quickly.
If that isn’t enough, they all still have their jobs at superstore and that is not something easy to do day in and day out.
So tune in for a comedy that is unlike anything else. It’s the best thing you got on Black Friday, you just didn’t know it until Cyber Monday.
After tonight’s special preview, the show moves to January 4th at 8p.

CBS serves up comedies on Wednesday
November 30th, 2015 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS‘s schedule is broken, so they are trying to fix it by moving things around on Wednesdays and Thursday.
I like that 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly will be paired together because they are CBS’s funniest comedies. I just wish it wasn’t only happening for a few weeks. Maybe they know that they will be using it to replace Angel From Hell when it fails miserably. But then again only one new fall show didn’t air all of its ordered episodes, so maybe they will stick with the comedy that is hell to watch until the end of the episode order.
Now the really bad new comes for fans of Person of Interest, the show still doesn’t have an air date. I have a feeling CBS will hold it for summer since they have some holes to fill due to the cancellation of Under the Dome and Extant. Personally, I am bummed that Rush Hour doesn’t have a start date because I enjoyed it so much more than Limitless.
It’s funny, I used to be a huge fan of CBS shows, but now I am down to watching just Supergirl, Scorpion, 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, The Odd Couple and Blue Bloods. I guess I am just too young for them. Are you a person losing interest in them too? See what I did there?
