John Stamos wants to know how celebrities lost their virginity!
April 29th, 2013 under Full House, John Stamos. [ Comments: none ]

John Stamos is popping his cherry as an interviewer on Yahoo! and he is going to ask celebrities the one question you want to know.
Get your computers ready because in the fall we are getting Losing Your Virginity with John Stamos on the world wide web. No he won’t be auctioning himself off for you to bid on him taking your V-Card, and yes I would claim I was one just for that! Instead he will be asking celebrities about their first times.
But according to the press release, it is going to be more than just them answering the question. We are going to see how they did it with either “crude animation, stop motion techniques, the occasional Barbie Doll and/or sock puppets. That should be fun/ny. I am sure everyone wants to see their first time reenacted by sock puppets. Oh wait isn’t that how most boys did it the first time with themselves?
Losing Your Virginity with John Stamos will be more than just how they lost it, it will be our way of finding out what they were like before we knew them and what they were like as teenagers.
Sounds like an interesting show, especially with Stamos being the man asking that question.
Hopefully he will get some good celebrities like Scott Baio, Steven Tyler, Elvira, Shia LaBeouf, Dustin Hoffman and himself talking about their big day that lasted just a few short seconds!

BTWF roles: Eddie McClintock on Felicity
April 29th, 2013 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 5:40 in)

Before Eddie McClintock was an agent on Warehouse 13, he was a graphic designer on Felicity. He looks the same now as he did when he was 31 in that 1999 episode.

Warehouse 13 sweats the big stuff tonight
April 29th, 2013 under Syfy. [ Comments: none ]

Warehouse 13 is back on Syfy tonight at 10p and it picks up exactly where it left off. That means it starts with Artie’s life in flux after being stabbed by Claudia. So is the rest of the world now that orchid denigrated and it is spreading the Sweating Sickness killer plague.
It is up to the now leaderless agents to save the day. So while Myka and Pete try to save the world, Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) and Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) will try to save a comatose Artie (Saul Rubinek).
Myka (Joanne Kelly) and Pete (Eddie McClintock) discover that a Count from the 18th century used to be able to bring flowers back to life, so they are going to talk to a professor at Columbia University who knows all about him to see what he knows. Maybe he might be able to help them find the artifact that can bring that orchid back to life ending the spread of the killer plague. The professor, played by James Marsters, has a secret that will change everything for Myka and Pete and set up things for the rest of the season. I won’t tell you what it is, but I will tell you that Buffy fans that you are going to love Marsters on the show because he speaks with a British accent like Spike!
Now when it comes to Claudia and Jinks, they use an artifact that will get them inside Artie’s brain and try to wake him up. Once inside, they find out he doesn’t want them there. Will they be able to break through his barriers or will we get a new head of Warehouse 13, which might not even matter if Pete and Myka can’t bring that orchid back to life.
You will just have to tune in to find out!
And you must tune in to see Eddie McClintock really let loose and have even more fun as Pete Lattimer. Even though he will be giving us some of his great improved, perfectly-time, one-liners, tonight’s episode is a little more on the serious than the others because of the subject matters. So I asked him what it is like to do such an intense episode last week at the NBCU Summer Press Day. He told me, “Since we are kind of a light show, doing the dark stuff is a welcome change. We never lose sight of the fact that we like to have fun as well.” And they do both in this exciting season premiere on Syfy at 9p.

Some Nights it is Fun. to be all clucked up!
April 29th, 2013 under Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon is not chicken to reuse a successful bit, so he brought back the all-clucking version of a song for Late Night on Friday. This time instead of using Blake Shelton and Nick Offerman, he had Amy Poehler and Michael Buble dress up as chickens and cluck their way through Some Nights by Fun..
I don’t know what it is about this bit, but there is just something so happy about it. It just brings a smile to my face, maybe because it is so stupid that it is smart fun..

Two Monkees and a Ramone!
April 29th, 2013 under Music. [ Comments: none ]

The Monkees sing uplifting music, while The Ramones do not. So when Micky Dolenz Tweeted this picture of him and bandmember Peter Tork with Marky Ramone at the Chiller Convention, I just had to share it with you. Even in music opposites do attract!
Maybe Marky would consider touring with The Monkees since they are still on the road sharing their tunes with the world. You know maybe we can a Monkeeified version of I Wanna Be Sedated or a Rock’n’Ramoned version of I’m a Believer. How awesome would that be? I would pay the big bucks to see that. A girl can be a Daydream Believer, right?
