Katy Perry wore a silver top on American Idol, and she spent the night hoping it wouldn’t break. And the top didn’t do that until the final performance of the night.
As Roman Collins was in the spotlight yesterday, Perry was hoping her boobs wouldn’t come to light on live TV.
So she and Luke Bryan (He thought her silver whoosh looked like tin foil) came up with different ways to keep her top on until the commercial break. First, the singer used her hands, then she hid under the table, and finally, she went for the pillow, which kept her covered up until the wardrobe department was able to sew her back into it.
Much to the disappointment of all the boys watching on their TVs.
I know a simple way to prevent this from happening to her again. Maybe she doesn’t wear such ridiculous outfits that distract from the contestants. Does anyone really like the way she dresses on the ABC singing competition?
Last week, there were reports that we could be getting a Melrose Place sequel with Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, and Daphne Zuniga. And now the admin of Leighton’s Facebook page is clarifying the details about the possible series.
*This new reboot is still in its early stages. A pilot has not been filmed yet.
*Laura Leighton, Daphne Zuniga and Heather Locklear are currently the only stars 100% signed on.
*Laura and Daphne will also be executive producers on this project.
*Lauren Gussis (Insatiable and Dexter) is on board to write the script and also executive produce the project.
*This reboot will bypass the 2009 reboot, ignoring any storylines or character arcs created (such as Sydney’s murder, her daughter Violet, Amanda being arrested etc.) and continue years after the end of the original Melrose Place series.
*This reboot is currently being shopped around to networks and streaming platforms looking for a home.
*The synopsis for this project is as follows, “When one of their dearest friends dies suddenly, the OG residents of Melrose Place gather to honour the deceased, but the pressure cooker of a reunion soon uncovers old traumas, rekindles old romances, reignites old resentments, and reveals new secrets… throwing our characters into chaotic drama that’s reminiscent of the past, but with a much more modern perspective.”
*There is no word as to the identity of which Melrose Place character is the one to die.
When it comes to who might be dying, I think it will be whoever refuses to reprise their character.
Does that make you more or less excited for Melrose 2.5?
It has been 45 years since Jill Whelan, 57, set sail on The Love Boat with Fred Grandy, 75, Ted Lange, 76, and Lauren Tewes, 70. And they still love working together.
So much so that Whelan, Grandy, and Lange are starring in a live production of I’m Not Rappaport in Dexter, Michigan until April 21st. And this weekend, Tewes came out to see her old shipmates in the play.
And we got this photo of the four of them, who all still look marvelous. Now, I really want a Love Boat revival with Vicki taking over as Captain as a way of honoring her late father.
Before Tamron Hall had a national talk show, she hosted one on WFLD in Chicago. She looks the same now as she did when she was 26 in that 1997 broadcast.
