Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb and Liza Minnelli were all walking the red carpet at the Scandalous The Musical premiere and someone thought it would be a great photo op for the three ladies to do together. Well I guess since Kris Jenner was there too, I am assuming she decided to weasel her way into picture. I say weaseled herself into the photo because it just doesn’t look like the other three are acknowledging her. But who can blame Liza because afterall Jenner has the same hairdo as her, and it just looks so much better on the Cabaret singer. Seriously I never realized before this picture that Kris looks like Liza, but not as good in my opinion.
Smash might have some big guest stars lending their talent to the show for the second season like Jennifer Hudson and Sean Hayes, but today they announced their biggest name yet to grace the show! Liza with Z then M I double-N then E double-L I is going to appear on the show about Broadway some time in the late Spring. Minnelli will have the tough part of playing herself, so hopefully she will nail it. Not only will she be portraying the great Liza Minnelli, she will also be singing an original song on the NBC musical drama with Christian Borle.
So when is this show that has been off the air for way to long coming back to our televisions? Mark your calendars because opening night is February 5th and you don’t want to be late for the curtain going up!

I never thought that anyone could ever upstage Liza Minnelli, but Arlene Dahl did just that. Try to look only at the Cabaret singer and not at Lorenzo Lamas’ 82 year old mother, see it is nearly impossible.
Not only has Miss Dahl upstaged Liza with Z in the pictures, she also has 2 more marriages than her. That’s right she Journeyed to the Center of the Earth 6 times while Liza has only gone there 4 times!
Liza Minnelli brought her Cabaret style to HSN to make a mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound and fourfour make a compilation reel of the highlights from her appearance. The Liza Collection is only available on HSN and out of all the celebrities, I can’t think of any one more perfect than her to sell their stuff on the Home Shopping Network. Seriously doesn’t her look just scream HSN?
And talking about screaming I am so mad I missed her debuting her line yesterday. Hopefully she will be back there soon because not only would I pay to see that, there were few items I would considering buying for myself. Did I just admit that I want to dress like Liza with a Z?
The advertising people behind Snickers are back with a new ad and you don’t have to be a diva to love it! Seriously I never thought they could top the Betty White/Abe Vigoda ad, but I think they came close with this commercial with Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin. I can’t wait to see what they do next.

John Stamos and Liza Minnelli walked the red carpet for Promises, Promise with her arm wrapped around his and I wonder if the two of them have something to tell us? They actually make a cute couple…that is if they are one? Afterall she has done worse, two words…David and Gest. And about time he had a Cougar show him how it is done. Granted I wouldn’t mind if he tried younger too…like me!

The stars of Cabaret, Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey were reunited yesterday at the premiere of Liza’s At The Palace… and both of them looked as good as they did when they did the movie 37 years ago! Hopefully Hollywood won’t destroy that movie and remake it. Oh sh!t, I hope they don’t read this and think that is a good idea.
BTW here is them doing Money back in the 1972 classic movie that won them both Oscars!!!
Liza Minnelli collapsed during a Christmas Show in Sweden after performing a few songs according to Reuters.
Minnelli collapsed during a Christmas show Wednesday night and fell off the side of the stage but was caught by a technician and escaped additional injuries, said Michael Silfverskiold, a local promoter.
"It was a terrible situation," he said. "She fell off the side of the stage. The production manager caught her."
Liza was taken to the hospital and was released on Thursday and is flying back to the United States today. It has not been disclosed why she collapsed but the promoter of the show said, "You could see she was in pain." Sadly the promoter was also in pain because several audience members were angry and were demanding their money back for the shortened performance. Jees the woman collapsed and those people could do is think about themselves, come on they were at a show that everyone will be talking about. Whatever.
Now back to Liza, here is to hoping she is better soon.
