Is Beyoncé bigger than The Beatles?
June 7th, 2023 under Beyoncé, Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

Beyoncé brought her tour to London, and Sir Paul McCartney came out to hear her sing. So does that mean she is bigger than The Beatles? Because one of them went to her concert.

But then again, none of us have been able to go to a Beatles show since 1980. And if John Lennon were still alive, I am sure she and Jay-Z would be hanging with him in NYC. Imagine that.

Now back to Sir Paul. His youthful excitement to play with the cameras is we still love him and need him at 80 like we did when he was 64!

Paul McCartney is Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time
December 25th, 2022 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

.
Paul McCartney posted the above photo and wrote, “Have a really wonderful Christmastime.” Because of that, I have his Christmas Carol stuck in my head. Since I don’t believe in suffering alone, my wish is that you are suffering with me.

BTW Am I the only one who likes the tune?

It’s Lennon and McCartney

Julian Lennon/Facebook

It is almost 42 years since we lost John Lennon, but this weekend we got to see a Lennon and McCartney reunion. That is because Julian Lennon bumped into Paul McCartney at Heathrow airport.

Their reunion was meant to be because Lennon told The AP at the MTV EMAs that his flights from LA were postponed and cancelled, so he got another flight that got him to the London airport at the same that Uncle Paul was there waiting for his flight to take off.

The two men talked for a half hour, and we got this sweet photo of them. Now, I want to see Julian, McCartney, Ringo Starr, and one of George Harrison’s kids get together and sing some Beatles tunes. How amazing would that be?

Paul McCartney says don’t blame Yoko Ono for breaking up The Beatles
October 29th, 2012 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: 1 ]

Ever since The Beatles split almost everyone has blamed Yoko Ono for breaking them up. Well it has been over 50 years since they called it a day and Paul McCartney is finally talking about it. According to The Guardian during an interview with David Frost that will air next month on The BBC he said, “She certainly didn’t break the group up, the group was breaking up.” He then added this when talking about John Lennon’s inspirational song Imagine, “I don’t think he would have done that without Yoko, so I don’t think you can blame her for anything. When Yoko came along, part of her attraction was her avant garde side, her view of things, so she showed him another way to be, which was very attractive to him. So it was time for John to leave, he was definitely going to leave [one way or another].”
Anyone else wonder what took him so long? And why hasn’t Ringo Starr ever said anything and why didn’t George Harrison? I mean that rumor has existed for most of our lifetime’s and not one member of the band refuted it until now. Or at least I don’t ever remember any of them contradicting rumor, do you? Maybe because it is all I have ever known, I am still going to blame her as the why reason why they broke up, even though I am sure what Macca said is the case.
So now back to the man that was once rumored to be dead, what is on his horizon? He told Frost, “I’d like to retire soon, and the way things are going I might be able to.” The world won’t be as musical when that happens.
