Secret Eats with Adam Richman is yummy and that is no secret!
August 8th, 2016 under Adam Richman, Travel Channel. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Richman is back with a new show on Travel Channel tonight at 10p and this time he is traveling the world to discover Secret Eats that even locals don’t know about.
In the premiere episode, he goes to a Private Eye Agency in London that has a hidden restaurant behind a bookcase that serves mac & cheese with bacon and truffle oil. He will also go to an antique store to try their smoked salmon. But it isn’t only about hidden eateries, it is also about secret menu items like a Nutella Sundae that is to scrumptious it should be illegal.
Then at 10:30p, he goes to Argentina and eats traditional Argentinian dishes out of people’s homes that are also restaurants.
In the coming weeks, he travels to Rome, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mexico City and Moscow. I just hope for the second season, he visits an exotic locale called Los Angeles because I want to try some of these hush hush places and cuisines.
My mouth was watering with each destination as he described the food in such a way that you can almost taste it with him. Best part no calories or fat when you eat what he is talking about.

Food Fighters is a yummy knock out!
July 22nd, 2014 under Adam Richman, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Food Fighters debuts on NBC tonight at 8p and you want to make a reservation to see this cooking competition show.
We have seen cooking competition shows where it’s home cooks vs home cooks or professional chefs vs professional chefs, but we’ve never seen one where it’s a home cook vs a professional chef. That is until tonight because that’s what Food Fighters is all about.
Each week a home cook will bring five of their best recipes with them and they take a renowned chef head on for up to $100,000. That well-known chef is known for cooking food a certain way, so how will they do when they are taken out of their comfort zone?
So how do the home cooks earn up to $100,000 each episode? They will go head to head with a pro. Each round they win, they earn money. If they lose a round, they do not win anything but they still go on to finish the episode and they are not sent home like they would be on other shows.
Besides heating things up on the stove, things get quite heated between the cooks. They trash talk each other like nobody’s business, but it is all done out of fun. And that is what makes this show so much fun.
Well that and Adam Richman who hosts it. Not only does he bring the heart, he also explains how they are preparing the meals in his own special enjoyable way. His love for food is infectious and it comes across on this show.
So tune in for a competition show that is not like anything you’ve seen on TV. Not only because of the premise but also because of how it is delivered to the audience. It’s served with a lot of love and lot joy, just like the perfect home cooked meal.

Adam Richman learns the hard way what use a golf ball cleaner on!
August 20th, 2013 under Adam Richman, Travel Channel. [ Comments: none ]

So Adam Richman posted this video on Vine of him curled up on the ground in pain pointing to a golf ball cleaner, telling us “Owwwwwww, I used it incorrectly.” Since we didn’t see what actually happened, we are left to assume that host of Fandemonium was nuts enough to use his attached balls on them. Which makes you wonder why he felt that they needed that type of cleaning? Yes we like them shiny and new, but we don’t want them smooth like a baby boy’s.
Seriously why didn’t anyone yell fore to him before he handicapped himself? I mean after that experience, I don’t think he will be getting a hole-in-one anytime soon.

A bare chested Adam Richman will give you Fandemonium!
August 19th, 2013 under Adam Richman, Travel Channel. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Richman has a new addictive show on Travel Channel, Sundays at 9p, called Fandemonium and he came up with an interesting way to promote the show. While answering questions on Vine, he ripped open his shirt to reveal a poster taped to his chest that reads when his show is on.
Now that the Man v Food host has won the battle against food, I have to say he looks great without a shirt. Not that he looked bad when food was winning! Hopefully we will see more of him like that during season 2 of the show, that is when Travel Channel makes the smart choice to bring it back. Seriously isn’t Fandemonium the most original and fun show on TV this summer!
So tune in on Sunday to see Richman take his road show to Laconia Bike Week in New Hampshire.
