Want to own a piece of The Goldbergs?
April 25th, 2023 under Auctions, The Goldbergs. [ Comments: none ]

There are only two more episodes until we say goodbye to The Goldbergs on May 3rd. But a piece of the show could live on with you forever. That is because Propstore Auction is auctioning off 103 props from the ’80s-based sitcom’s decade of filming.

That’s right. There is a lot of ’80s nostalgia there because you could own toys like a stuffed E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial doll, G.I. Joe sets or Teddy Ruxpin, an Atari game console, a Garfield phone, collectibles such as baseball and Garbage Pail cards, lots and lots of clothes, costumes from the era including a Mork from Ork one, and so much more for the Gen Xer in your life.

And they even have stuff from the real Goldberg family. Beverly Goldberg says that some of her personal sweaters she gave to show are also part of the auctions.

And most of the lots start at $100. So, save up because the last day to bid is May 15th. And if anyone wants to buy me something, I would love the ’80s phones. They are so totally tubular!

Want to own a piece of Sammy Davis Jr’s jewelry?
July 19th, 2021 under Auctions. [ Comments: none ]

For the first time since 1990, the year that Sammy Davis Jr was taken away from us way too soon, five pieces of his spectacular jewelry will be hitting the auction block tomorrow at 1p ET at Bonhams Los Angeles. So, if you ever wanted to own any of Mr. Bojangle’s candy, now is the time to do it.

The jewelry was worn by the singer back in the ’70s and was extravagant as he was. They are Bueche-Girod: 18k Gold Bracelet Watch (Estimate: $4,000 – $6,000), 18k Bi-Color Gold, Diamond and Enamel Monogram Ring (Estimate: $3,000 – $5,000), 18k Bi-Color Gold, Diamond And Enamel Monogram Necklace (Estimate: $6,000 – $8,000), Gold And Diamond Solitaire Ring (Estimate: $30,000 – $40,000), and 18k Gold, Fancy Brown Diamond And Diamond Ring (Estimate: $7,000 – $9,000).

Whether you are a fan of The Rat Pack or just like sparkle, these would be perfect for anyone’s collection. Especially if their initials are SD.

Don’t miss their rare opportunity because who knows if it will ever happen again.

Dawn Wells is having an estate sale
October 3rd, 2018 under 60s, Auctions. [ Comments: none ]

Dawn Wells is having some financial woes and she is downsizing. Because of that, this weekend she is holding an estate sale.

The beloved actress is not only selling off items of her furniture but also some memorabilia from her days on Gilligan’s Island and other shows. Therefore, if you are near Valley Village and a fan, it is the must go to sale of the weekend. Just don’t expect to see her because her publicist Harlan Boll says she will not be in attendance. While she will not be there, I will be.

How could I say no to some of the things she is getting rid of? To see what she is parting with, check out EstateSales.Net.

That is a Jurassic sized Dorito
June 15th, 2018 under Auctions. [ Comments: none ]

In honor of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Dorito came up with a dinosaur-sized chip. A chip so large, it is 18 times bigger than the ones we eat. The special chip comes in custom-designed, prop-replica dinosaur egg and metal case with a handcrafted Jurassic Doritos chip inside.

Sadly it is not available in the stores, instead, you have to bid on the winning chip via eBay. But it is all for a good cause. All the money they get from the auction will go to the Red Cross to help the people affected by the volcano eruption in Hawaii where part of the movie was filmed.

If you need to have it, then you better have the green ready because the bidding is already over $1,200 and there is still 5 days to go.
