If you want a piece of Oprah, then you can personally go to the auction on Saturday in Santa Barbara or you can bid on the items on the Kaminski Auctions website.

Britney Spears is returning to TV on The X Factor next month and the Pop Queen is auctioning off a chance to meet her for charity. Bette Midler asked her friends to donate something special for an auction to benefit the nonprofit she founded, the New York Restoration Project and my favorite donation is a date with John Stamos! How much would is it worth for you to dine with the Full House star and stare into his gorgeous eyes? Right now he is going for $3,000 but I would pay so much more to share a romantic dinner with him! But he isn’t the only one offering a magical evening, how about spending the night with Cher in Vegas after seeing her perform? What about doing the weather with Al Roker live on The Today Show? Not a fan of the Today Show, what about spending the morning with Good Morning America? Or how about playing tennis with John McEnroe? If sharing the court with him seems too risky what about round of golf with Alice Cooper in Arizona? Want something a little musical? What about meeting Kristen Chenoweth and Sean Hayes after you see them starring in their Broadway show Promises, Promises! Do you prefer a concert? Five for Fighting, Rod Stewart at O2 in London, The Disco Biscuits and Rob Thomas are all offering up VIP tickets to their gig. If you are a TV fan, there is also something for you because you can get to see a taping of One Life to Live, Jimmy Kimmel Live or The Marriage Ref. There are so many items to bid on that you have to check them out at Charity Folks! BTW if you are worried that you have to travel for some of the items, JetBlue is generously donating travel for a lot of the big auction items!
OK I am off to auction myself for a lot less than $3,000 to anyone that will buy me, so that I can raise money enough money to go on that date with John Stamos!

Looks like the rumors that Conan O’Brien’s last week of hosting The Tonight Show is next week because someone put the set on CraigsList. Could just be a joke from one of the staffers or someone who doesn’t work on the show, but either way it is really funny. But wouldn’t it be funny if it were for real?
BTW I wonder how much Jay Leno bid on it? You know since he is the reason they are vacating that barely used set. He still will be using his, but they on the other hand won’t be.

So remember two weeks ago when Kate Moss was running from the paparazzi in Berlin and her hair extension fell out on to the red carpet? Well the pap who picked it up is auctioning it off on eBay for a German drug charity Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs) according to AFP.
"I hope Kate doesn't mind. I did not have time to ask her because she was in quite a hurry," Farr told the newspaper.
I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to own someone else's hair real or fake. I mean at least Kate Moss' hair extension is better than Britney Spears' real hair that she shaved off that fateful night almost two years ago, but still ewwww.
Imagine owning a piece from Hollywood legend Bob Hope! Well come mid-October that could become a reality when his widow and daughter put up almost 800 things that once belonged to him up for auction according to AP!
"Dad was a pack rat," daughter Linda Hope told The Associated Press. "He loved to collect things. Even when he wasn't conscious of collecting, people would give him things. They would be brought home, listed, photographed and placed in storage. There are 11,000 items in his memorabilia collection."
Now keeper of the family flame, Linda Hope, 68, made the first public announcement of the Bob Hope Estate Auction on a recent sunny morning at the comedian's longtime compound in North Hollywood — 7 acres of mansion, office building, swimming pool, greenery and short-hole golf course. A selection of the items to be auctioned were spread atop two large tables.
"A lot of the things will go to the Library of Congress," Linda explained in a lounge where her father gave many an interview over lunch, including to this reporter. "Most of the paper goods will be going there, scripts and photographs and other things that Dad donated before he died. The Library isn't interested in three-dimensional items."
Wow! That is so nice of the family to do. I am so going to make sure to check Julien's Auctions for what items are up for sale and when. Bob Hope is such a legend it would be amazing to own something that once belonged to him. Of course with what I could afford it would probably be like a used handkerchief.
