I am sure you heard they are making a live action version of The Lion King and it sounds like they have their Timon and Pumbaa. The Wrap is reporting that Jon Favreau will direct Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner in the roles. Rogen will play the warthog while Eichner is the meerkat. Like I said they look the parts.
Danny Glover has already been cast as Simba and James Earl Jones will play his dad. Who at Disney casts these movies because the casting for the live versions are always wrong.
We have seen Billy Eichner bring his shtick to the streets of Manhattan, but the one street I never that I would see him walk was Sesame Street. That all changed because he got to travel where the air is sweet and hand out cookies to the Muppets on Sesame Street with Cookie Monster. He asked them things like “Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?” He also asked The Count what is his favorite number is. While that one did not go over that well, it went much better than when he tried to ask Oscar the Grouch a question.
You know who is not grouch? Anyone who watches this video because it is pure joy! That is why it is always a sunny day there, sweepin’ the clouds away!
Lupita Nyong’o went for a walk in NYC with Billy Eichner and you know where this story goes. The Oscar winner tested out her Comedy skills by reading bits from some of the raunchiest comics out there like Louis CK, Bob Saget and Daniel Tosh. But she didn’t just read it to Billy on the Street, he stopped people on the street to get their opinions. I might not have been one of the NYers he stopped, but I will still give my thoughts. Good thing she already has the golden statuette because she would never win one after that. That was atrocious. Like beyond bad.
I love ’70s and ’80s sitcoms and every now and again, they would have a character pretend that they died and hold a funeral for them. That character wanted to see how people would react to their death or was avoiding someone who wanted to kill them or was presumed dead but came alive right at that moment.
Anyways, those were sitcoms so it was funny. Tonight on Billy on the Street, Billy Eichner recruited Seth Rogen for a sick joke. He would tell people on the streets of Manhattan that the actor was dead to see how they would react. After they were done talking about him, Eichner would reveal he was alive and well.
Not one went well and it came off as cruel and stupid. That is why I appreciated the ones who have no idea who he is.
What do you think of it?
Billy Eichner took his Billy on the Street to see if strangers would take part in a three way with Jon Hamm and him for $1. Believe it or not some women were hesitant, the men were not and one refused until she realized that the mad man was involved. Then she was all in.
Heck if they would’ve asked me, I would’ve given them a dollar. It is Jon Hamm and we have all seen what he is hiding in his pants!
To see what other questions Eichner has for people on the street, check out his show on TruTV tonight at 10:30p.
