iZombie begins its end tonight
May 2nd, 2019 under iZombie. [ Comments: none ]

iZombie is finally back on The CW tonight at 8p and I so missed this show. Seattle is getting used to their new existence being closed off from the rest of the United States. While that might not sound that bad, the brain supply is running low.

Blaine (David Anders) does his thing. However, that is now in jeopardy because some Zombies killed a woman and her murder was caught on video. Now, Liv (Rose McIver), Ravi (Rahul Kohli) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) need to capture the Zombies before they do it again. This way they can go on with life, or would it be death, as normal.

If that is not enough for them to handle, the living people trapped in Seattle don’t like living with the undead. A revolution feels like it is on the way. Is it?

What about Ravi’s cure? It looks we might know why it worked. There is just one problem, what they need to mass produce it. Is a cure worth it?

This is just some of the things we have to look forward to for the rest of the last season. Why does this show have to end?

Did I mention that Ravi is now eating brains and taking on their personalities? You can tell that Kohli is loving every minute of it. Nearly as much as we are enjoying watching him taking them on.

100 women do not want to have sex with Steve Harvey!
July 23rd, 2018 under iZombie, Steve Harvey, The Real. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday on Celebrity Family Feud, Steve Harvey posed this question to the contestants, “We asked 100 women, name something you would like to do to Steve Harvey while he is sleeping?”

Adrienne Bailon got real and said, “Tickle him,” and 19 women agreed with her. Since it was not the #1 answer, Aly Michalka got her shot to answer and she was a real hellcat with her answer. The iZombie star embarrassingly said, “sex.” That answer got him all excited until he went to see if it was on the board. Not one woman said that answer. You can see that he was crushed that out of 100 women, not one woman would want to have sex with him. He asked the audience, “How ugly am I?” I guess it is the mustache because a few women did say that they would shave it off while he was sleeping?

You have to feel bad for him because that has really got to hurt one’s feelings a lot. It would definitely hurt mine.

iZombie gets crazy ex girlfriend tonight!
April 9th, 2018 under iZombie. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight’s iZombie on The CW at 9p starts off with another show’s lead. Crazy Ex Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom playing an actress/playwright who meets her maker. When Liv (Rose McIver) needs some brains to eat, she eats her grey anatomy. That turns her into an over-dramatic Liv.

But that skill comes in helpful when she decides to continue doing what the late Mama Leoni was doing. Something Mama Leoni’s followers are not so willing for her to do. Will she be able to convince them to let her help them smuggle people in or out New Seattle?

Talking about good reasons, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) eats a questionable brain to help Peyton (Aly Michalka) out and pays a big price. Will it be worth it?

Make sure to watch the episode all the way through for not one but two game-changing moments.

iZombie is never dull and never predictable and that is why I cannot get enough of this show. That and I cannot wait to see what brain Liv eats and how her personality changes because of it. How the Emmys have not recognized McIver is beyond me.

Liv goes all hockey on iZombie, and the FBI visits the Good Girls
March 26th, 2018 under iZombie, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Last week when iZombie left off, Major ate the brain of a wrestler. Tonight at 9p on The CW, Liz gets her sports on too. She eats the brain of a hockey player and has to solve his murder.

At first Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) loves the idea of Liv (Rose McIver) as a hockey player and then he realizes what that means. She is a full on dude, you know the type. Much different than last week’s romantic girly girl. Think that time she was a frat dude but worse.

Liv sees that the dead guy and their lead suspect have ties to Renegade. Renegade is still being held by Fillmore-Graves and they are going to make an example of her. When they do, it changes what is going to happen next for the show.

And that is only one glimpse of the change that is happening. Peyton is seeing first hand that things are getting way more complicated between the peaceful cohabitation of the Zombies and the humans in new Seattle. How much longer can they live in harmony before it becomes and us vs them scenario.

Translation, tonight’s game changing episode is one you do not want to miss. Let’s be honest, are any of their episodes one you want to miss? You never what they are going to give McIver to do and she always nails it!

Then at 10p but over on NBC, as we saw at the end of last week’s episode, the FBI has come knocking on Good Girls door. Beth (Christina Hendricks) tells the agent, she does not know anything. But he is not letting up. How does knowing the FBI is on her case change how she does things?

Not like she is going to have a choice because Rio (Manny Montana) drops the money in all of their trunks and there are no backsies. Now they have no choice but to spend it or pay Rio back $100,000. As we know they don’t have it. It all goes perfectly until Annie (Mae Whitman) screws it up again. You will never believe what they have to do to save her.

Talking about saving, Ruby’s (Retta) daughter collapses and her kidneys are failing. Is her daughter’s illness going to take her out of the game or make her go all in?

It is a lot for them to handle, but they made their mess. And next week, they will…I cannot tell you that just yet.
