Paul Rudd and Jimmy Fallon had too much time on their hands, so they recreated the Styx’s 1981 music video for Too Much Time On My Hands. I guess in the early ’80s they were still high from whatever stale drugs were left over from the ’60s, so their music videos were trippy and not in a good way.
But in a way that 35 years later, the NBC late night host and the Ant-Man could copy it. When you watch it, you think there is no way that the original was that horrible. Then you watch the original one and you see that it was. Making us wonder, why did they hate Disco so much when Rock bands were coming up with stuff like this. Plus, it makes me sad because Tommy Shaw and Styx did a lot of brilliant music like Renegade, Come Sail Away, Mr Roboto and What If, and this kind of nullifies all of those classic works.
Almost every time that Paul Rudd has been on any of Conan O’Brien’s late night shows, he has shown a clip from Mac & Me instead of one from the movie he has was promoting on that episode. This time the TBS host was hoping that because Ant-Man is a Marvel film that he would actually get a clip from the movie. It started out with a scene from the superhero flick, but Mac & Me wheeled its way in. Once it did, Conan just gave up.
You would think he wouldn’t be so clueless to the fact that Rudd is going to do this time, but he still hasn’t figured out. Which is good for us and bad for him.
In case you have missed all of the other times that Rudd has done this to Conan, here is a megamix of most of those appearance. I feel bad for vman330 because he is going to have to add this latest appearance to his mix.
Paul Rudd was a guest on Late Night yesterday and he couldn’t wait for his segment to be on the show. So while Seth Meyers was reading his monologue, he put on a baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a porn stache, and interrupted him. Even though the NBC host saw right through it, he still went along with the “clueless stranger” in the audience. Which is a good thing because it turned out to be really funny.
Paul Rudd got to work with Michael Douglas in Ant-Man, and the Clueless actor told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he decided he wanted to Basic Instinct the legend.
Rudd positioned himself so that his T-shirt covered his underwear covered privates, but something went wrong. His boxers rammed everything up, ruining his perfect plan. So he kept trying to move everything down, but as he did, it looked like he was playing with his ant-man. Well Douglas saw what was happening, and asked his co-star, “Are you f*cking a pervert?” Rudd then explained what he was doing, and Douglas seemed OK with it.
I guess you could say it was more like a Fatal Attraction as compared to a Basic Instinct.
Yesterday was Jimmy Fallon’s first show since his accident and he explained what happened. Basically, he got everyone who watched the show to look up ring aversion and now people all over the country are grossed out.
Thankfully, he is better now even though we are not.
