Geraldo Rivera came in second on The Celebrity Apprentice and last place on Dancing with the Stars, and it looks like he is not done with Reality TV just yet. Yesterday the reporter Tweeted, “My next challenge, #NakedAndAfraid?” Haven’t we seen enough of him already? Do our poor eyes need to see more?
So TLC I beg of you, please don’t let him go naked because my eyes are afraid.
Remember when Geraldo Rivera shared a shirtless Selfie of himself and you were totally grossed out by it? Well, yesterday as he was awaiting his elimination from Dancing with the Stars, he posted another one. This one is even grosser. Not because he is older, but because he does not look good as a blonde.
Thankfully, we won’t have to suffer through him trying to dance on the ABC competition show anymore.
Last week, Ellen DeGeneres had some fun with the Justin Bieber Calvins ad at Geraldo Rivera‘s expense.
This week, the newsman took to Twitter to say he disagrees with her joke. He Tweeted, “In same way #Clavins photoshopped @justinbieber to make bulge sing @ellendegenerus made my belly overly robust and my jewels unimpressive.” Then he added, “I demand a live rematch, just me and Justin mano a mano perhaps staged by #CELEBAPPRENTICE.”
I rewatched Geraldo in his underwear on The Celebrity Apprentice and I am not seeing what he is seeing. I don’t think Ellen’s video looks like it was touched up as he says. Maybe, he had on his rose colored glasses (yes he actually wears them on the show) when he watched the original video and had them off for the new one. Thus why he is seeing himself having more bulge on top and less on the bottom.
Watch the video from the NBC show and then the one from the daytime talk show, and tell me if you think Ellen tinkered with his body. To watch the original video, click here!
Before Geraldo Rivera was trying to find out what was in Al Capone’s vault, he was trying to help John Lennon and Yoko Ono find her daughter for WABC. He looks the same now as he did when he was 29 in that 1972 interview.
For weeks, Discovery has been promoting Eaten Alive, a special they said where a guy gets eaten by anaconda while he is alive. It turns out, after watching the show for two long hours, he was just tasted by the snake. His head was swallowed up by the reptile and his body was squeezed by it. Then when the crushing effect became too much for him, he asked for his team to rescue him.
So obviously this whole stunt was a disappointment to all who tuned in. In fact, some people like me, compared it to the time Geraldo Rivera opened up Al Capone’s Vault and nothing was inside. A comparison the newsman does not like. He took to Twitter and said, “Comparing Eaten Alive to Al Capone’s vault is unfair. I didn’t know the damn thing was empty & I didn’t stop halfway down belly of the beast”. He is right and his event was on live TV, so they found out when we did that it was empty. Unlike yesterday’s taped show where everyone involved knew he wasn’t really eaten alive. So in a way we should be a lot more disappointed by yesterday’s special because they knew nothing was really going to happen.
Now even though Geraldo has a point, both specials were big let downs. So which one do you think was a bigger let down?
