The Good Boys really are good boys!
August 12th, 2019 under Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

Preteens Jacob Tremblay, Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams are starring in Seth Rogen’s movie Good Boys. Since it is a Rogen film, it is not at all family-friendly. Yet, the child actors are sweet and innocent. At least they used to be.

For the movie, they had to learn a lot of things that are much more mature than they are and a bunch of new words. In fact, on the ride home, their moms would have to explain things to them. Noon went from not being able to say “c-r-a-p” at home to using much crappier words when he was at work. They got so familiar with the language, they were using it on set when they were not filming. That is when Tremblay’s dad stepped in and would not allow them to use it after the director yelled cut.

However, I bet you when the three boys were hanging with their friends, they taught them all the things they learned at the job. Who needs an education when you are getting that as an education. Actually, all kids need to stay in school. If not, you can grow up to be like me.

One of the good things about being 18, is that I can go see this movie on my own this Friday. I feel bad for all of the actors’ friends who will not be allowed to see it. That is unless they tell the ticket taker they are going to see The Lion King (Rogen’s other movie) and then sneak into this feature. Who else besides me used to do that all the time?

Good Boys is the kids’ movie that is not kid friendly!
July 17th, 2019 under Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

Remember when Seth Rogen came up with an animated movie that was not for kids? Well, his new movie Good Boys is kind of like that.

Instead, this feature stars three tweens who keep getting into the type of mischief they won’t know about for a few years. I wonder how many things had to be explained to Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams and Brady Noon while they were filming it. I hope a lot. However, when I was their age, I think I knew all about those things. Or at I thought I did.

Either way, I will be there on August 16th to see it because I have been a fan of Williams ever since he was on Selfie. That and it looks so wrong. We will all be feeling guilty that we are laughing as hard as we are with them.

More like The Lion needs to be put to Sleep Tonight
July 12th, 2019 under Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

I will openly admit, I am not a fan of Disney’s live-action remakes. I also did not care for The Lion King that much when it was an animated movie. Therefore, I have no intention to see the live-action film that is out now. Especially, after they cast Billy Eichner to play Timon and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa. Why did they think that was a good idea?

Then today my friend, Michael, sent me the audio of them singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight. How bad is it? Where is a Trump kid or that dentist when you need one? I normally am against trophy hunting, but in this case, it is OK to kill meerkat and warthog like they murdered the classic tune.

Since it is one of my all-time favorite tunes, I will listen to my favorite version of it from The Tracey Ullman Show. I think you should do the same. This way it will numb some of the pain caused by that movie version that sounds more like a hyena being eaten by a boa constrictor. Damn you, Jon Favreau, for doing this to us.

Charlize Theron fakes an orgasm
May 3rd, 2019 under Charlize Theron, James Corden, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday on The Late Late Show, Seth Rogen, Charlize Theron and James Corden acted out 20 Rom-Coms. I never realized how many leading men in those movies have dark curly hair. What is up with that Tom Hanks, Billy Crystal and Ben Stiller?

Anyways, back to the bit. While I don’t remember most of those movies as a whole, I remembered a lot of those lines. I just remember them being a lot more romantic on the big screen. Which is probably why, out of the three actors, only one was in a Rom-Com. Which makes me wonder was Knocked Up really a romantic comedy? What do you think?

Seth Rogen told Tom Cruise about internet p0rn
August 9th, 2018 under Seth Meyers, Seth Rogen, Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Suri. [ Comments: none ]

Back when Tom Cruise was having his jumping on couches stage, he met with Seth Rogen to help repair his image. Instead, Rogen taught Cruise something he had no idea about. That thing is internet p0rn. That’s right, he did not know that is what the internet is for.

What happened after that, we are only left to imagine. Probably, the same thing we all did when we were left alone with a computer for the first time! Spent the whole time watching the good stuff.

That was only one of the stories that Rogen told Seth Meyers about the Top Gun on Late Night yesterday. As the actor was driving to meet Cruise, he really had to pee. He did not want to rush into the house and be like, ‘Dude where is the little boy’s room?’ Thus, as he was driving up the long windy driveway, he made a pit stop and peed in a Snapple bottle. Since I am a woman, I thought it would be an easy thing for a man to do, but apparently, it is not. Rogen had to position himself in a way to get it all in the bottle. Therefore, Rogen is assuming that Cruise has a video of him urinating in a bottle.

Which makes you think that Cruise does not get what internet p0rn is all about. Well besides that, it is also for putting up videos like that for the rest of the world to see. Or at least people like us who would totally check it out!
