Bette Midler takes a nearly nude Selfie for a good cause!
March 10th, 2016 under Bette Midler. [ Comments: none ]

Bette Midler and Kim Kardashian have been in a Twitter war over the nude Selfie the latter posted on Sunday.
Well after getting a lot publicity over their spat, The Divine Miss M decided to use it for some good. She stripped down to black underwear and held up a cardboard sign that reads, “Like Kim…Put your Selfie to work for a good cause! Join me www.Crowdrise.com #StagesForSuccess.”
Her charity helps to modernize out of date public school auditoriums, so that they students can have a place to perform and enjoy the arts. For every dollar you donate, she is matching it 2X.
Finally, something good came out of that nude Selfie. That and we found that Midler has a rose of an a$$! Much better than the person who started it all, and Bette is 70 years young.

Amy Poehler is The Rose!

Tenacious D were holding their annual Festival Supreme when Amy Poehler joined them on stage. She didn’t tell any jokes or do any bits, instead she sang a song. Not just any song, Bette Midler’s timeless ballad The Rose. I never thought I would say this, but I think her version might even be better than the original. Weren’t you blown away by her?

When Johnny Carson did his last The Tonight Show, Bette Midler serenaded him. Well yesterday when Bill Maher made his last appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he brought along Seth MacFarlane to serenade him with their version of Thanks for the Memories. They are no Miss Divine, but they were pretty darn close.

BTWF awards shows: Bette Midler at The Tonys
November 1st, 2012 under Before They Were Famous, Bette Midler. [ Comments: none ]

Before Bette Midler had an Outrageous Fortune, she was just the daughter of a Fiddler on the Roof. How awesome was it to see the 22 year old in her first major awards show performance back in 1968.

Hocus Pocus and Bette Midler is unrecognizable!

Bette Midler went as the Ghost of Coco Chanel for the 17th Annual NYRP Halloween Benefit Gala and I didn’t even know it was the Divine Miss M at first. I am not sure if is the white skin or the dark hair, but she looks nothing like the woman we got to know in The Rose. And because of that I absolutely loved her ingenious costume!
