Do Joan Rivers and Robert De Niro have something to tell us?
February 19th, 2014 under Do they have something to tell us?, Robert De Niro, The Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers. [ Comments: none ]

Joan Rivers Tweeted these pictures of Robert De Niro and her from Monday’s premiere of The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and I have to wonder if they have something to tell us? Nope, but she wishes they did because she said this, “If Bobby De Niro only knew about my secret crush on him. (Don’t tell his very chic wife!)” with the photos. Could you imagine if they ever did have something to tell us? Let’s not and say that we did.

What would you do if you saw these guys eating together?
August 18th, 2013 under Robert De Niro, Uncategorized. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday was Robert De Niro’s 70th birthday, so he decided to have lunch with some of his friends that you probably heard of? Do the names Christopher Walken, Harvey Keitel and Samuel L Jackson sound familiar to you? Well of course they do, so imagine what it would be like to see them all having lunch together? You wouldn’t know whether you should go up to them and ask for an autograph or run for your life because there could be a shoot out any second. I am honestly torn on what I would’ve done. What would you do?

Robert De Niro dies more than any other actor
December 31st, 2010 under Brangelina, Robert De Niro. [ Comments: none ]

Ever wonder which star has died the most on the big screen? Well ChaCha has compiled a list and Robert De Niro topped it at 14. The next actor who Dies Hard over and over again is Bruce Willis in with 11 deaths. Who is next on the list From Hell, that will be Johnny Depp who became known when Freddy Krueger killed him in Nightmare on Elm Street and he died 9 times after that. Now the list goes on, but I think it is wrong because I think that Brad Pitt who they say died 9 times should be equal with the man he co-starred with in an episode of 21 Jump Street. As you can see in the clip above from Meet Joe Black, he was definitely killed in Meet Joe Black as he was hit not by one, but by two cars in the movie that was so long I feel asleep watching as many times as Pitt has died on the big screen.

Francis Ford Coppola disses Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson
October 18th, 2007 under Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro. [ Comments: 2 ]

There are very few directors who can diss Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson and get away with it and be taken seriously. One of the few is Francis Ford Coppola and that is exactly what he is doing according to New York Daily News

"I met both Pacino and De Niro when they were really on the come," Coppola tells GQ's Nate Penn. "They were young and insecure. Now Pacino is very rich, maybe because he never spends any money; he just puts it in his mattress. De Niro was deeply inspired by (Coppola's studio American) Zoetrope and created an empire and is wealthy and powerful.

"Nicholson was — when I met him and worked with him — he was always kind of a joker. He's got a little bit of a mean streak. He's intelligent, always wired in with the big guys and the big bosses of the studios.

"I don't know what any of them want anymore. I don't know that they want the same things. Pacino always wanted to do theater … (He) will say, 'Oh, I was raised next to a furnace in New York, and I'm never going to go to L.A.,' but they all live off the fat of the land."

"I think if there was a role that De Niro was hungry for, he would come after it. I don't think Jack would. Jack has money and influence and girls, and I think he's a little bit like (Marlon) Brando, except Brando went through some tough times. I guess they don't want to do it anymore.

I see Coppola's point, but two of those 3 have earned the right to have that attitude.
