Nathan Fillion went out to eat, but he had a little bit of a problem with his drink. For some reason his mouth couldn’t find the straw, so his tongue went round and round. Giving us all a glimpse of what it would be like to French Kiss with him. Or for my friend, who has a free pass with him, picturing what it would be like if he took her oral exam. Something that left my legs confused, to open or to close.
Would you let him go round and round with you after watching this or will you be sucking on the straw?
On the open or close note, my legs decided to open up because he looks cute after he got busted. Something I could work with!
Nathan Fillion might look handsome when he is awake, but when he is sleeping it is a whole other story. The Castle starred shared a photo of himself dozing off and let’s just it is not his best look.
So for all of you women who wondered what it would be like to sleep with him, now you know. Do you wish you didn’t or do you like what you see?
ABC shocked a lot of people yesterday when they cancelled Castle which seemed like a sure bet for at least a shortened season. Today, Nathan Fillion Tweeted his goodbye to the show and I think he comes off as a d!ck.
He said, “All things must end. It has been an honor working with the men and women of Castle. I am truly amazed at what we’ve done. Thank you all.” Now I get that you can only use 140 characters for each Tweet, but the expression is, “All GOOD things must come to an end.” Maybe I am reading too much into it, but does him leaving the word “good” out, hint that he didn’t feel that way about it?
Then he followed up that Tweet with a message for the viewers, “Dear Fans, In whatever project I do next, loudly notice how unlike Castle and fresh and versatile I am. Thanks.” Is that his way of saying that he hated the character they created for him? I, personally, find that he plays the same role in everything he does. So I am not expecting to “loudly notice” a difference. Are you?
No matter what went down during the last few days with Castle, I don’t think he should’ve sh!t on the show that kept him employed for the last 8 years and earned him a lot of fans. How many actors would love to have that opportunity? Pretend that you have a little more respect for your job in public. People and the press don’t forget. Ask the likes of Chevy Chase, David Caruso and Katherine Heigl.
Even Stana Katic, who was fired from the show, hand wrote a much sweeter goodbye than him.
How do you think he came off in his Tweets?
Somewhere Stana Katic is doing a happy dance! Just weeks after she was fired from Castle, ABC cancelled the show!
My theory is ABC was paying attention to the online chatter about people despising the idea of the show going on without Beckett, and realized it wasn’t worth bringing it back. That and the pitch for next season must’ve been awful. I mean they just renewed the contracts of Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever in the last few days, so they were seriously thinking of bringing it back. But at the last minute they said no to renewing one of their highest rated scripted shows. Something had to happen to make them change their minds so suddenly.
So I guess you can say the show is called Castle, but it can’t just go on with just Fillion. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Am I sad to see this show go? Not at all. The last few seasons have been horrible with this one being the worst by far. Thus, I am happy to say goodbye to this procedural this Monday night.
UPDATE: ABC also cancelled the very disappointing The Muppets. Synergy couldn’t save the comedy and I am happy it didn’t. It was just The Muppets without any heart. Without that they were destroying everything they were built on. So good riddance. That and how dare they break up Kermit and Miss Piggy.
UPDATE 2: TV Line is reporting that Castle filed an alternate ending in case it got cancelled.
UPDATE 3: The fat lady sang because Galavant was cancelled. I loved that show. Even though I knew it was going to get cancelled, it still breaks my heart it won’t be back.
UPDATE: ABC picked up Dr Ken for a second season. This show didn’t have the best pilot, but every episode since then has been really funny. They learned how to write for the full cast and they all deliver brilliantly.
Yesterday, it was announced that ABC did not ask two of Castle’s female leads to come back next season, if there is one. While Stana Katic and Tamala Jones will not be back, to me it looks like Molly Quinn will return for season 9. Why do I say that? Today she Tweeted, “It’ll be different, way way way different, but it is #Castle @NathanFillion IS Castle.”
So a little background, according to the rumors, Katic and Nathan Fillion did not get along. Us Weekly even claims that things got so bad, they went to couples counseling this season to work out their difference. Does not sound like it worked.
These rumors have been around for years and it looks like Quinn sided with her TV dad per her last Tweet on this matter. She did Tweet earlier, “Yesterday was a horrible day. Ya’ll’re right, I did work with @Stana_Katic and @tamalajones for 8 yrs. I love them. I’m heartbroken.”
I am reading too much between the lines because I have to admit I sided with Katic on the matter. Without Beckett keeping Castle in order, the show is seems out of control. Just let Castle do what he wants and that gets boring fast because he comes off as a buffoon. Without the police force backing him up, he does what he wants and that gets old fast.
When it comes to Quinn staying on, I find her just blah. Katic was one of the few leading ladies, teamed up with a male lead, who actually had some balls.
ABC, in my opinion, really screwed things up and the only way to rectify their mistake is to end the show this season That and the show has majorly declined creatively this season. It is barely watchable and yesterday’s episode was not even that.
Coincidentally, yesterday’s episode was called Backstabber. Talk about reading between the lines…
I should add Fillion Tweeted this statement, “Castle has been one of the greatest joys of my creative life, and I hope the show continues on for years to come. Stana has been my partner all this time, and I thank her for creating the character of Beckett, who will live on for all of us as one of the greatest police officers on television. I wish her well, and have no doubt she will succeed in everything she pursues. She will be missed.”
