Billy Crystal took his tour to a land down under and as you can see he has a giant crab near his land down under. I never thought I would be so focused on the city slicker’s crotch, but it just looks so yummy to me. I just want to suck that monster dry!
On May 20th, David Letterman is going to say goodbye to hosting late night television after nearly a third of a century and Billy Crystal wrote a song for his longtime friend.
The Comedian sang the tribute tune to the beat of Sunrise, Sunset from Fiddler on the Roof and it is marvelous. How can you not have a tear in your eye when you look back at The Late Show host’s career and what a career it has been.
Billy Crystal is returning to TV tonight in FX’s The Comedians at 10p and he’s bringing Josh Gad along with him.
The show is about the two of them starring in a mockumentary of the making of their variety show that is slated on the network. To say the two of them hate each other would be understatement. Their resentment they have for each other is what makes the show so funny. Each week, they will try to make the show work even though they can’t stand each other.
The show is not only about them, it is also about their inept staff. Kristen Laybourne (Stephnie Weir) is their producer and she is beyond clueless. While she is at the top of the food chain, Esme (Megan Ferguson) is at the bottom, and she is the smartest one of them all. She knows how to play the game and she plays it better than anyone else.
You can’t have two leads like Crystal and Gad and not expect great guest stars. Steven Weber plays a director and you’ve never seen him looking like this before. Mel Brooks plays himself and he does a cat imitation that is so good even my kitty thought it was the real thing.
While those are the guest stars, the episodes have their own unique appeal. There’s one episode where they get high and go to a supermarket. Another one where Gad has to learn how to fake cry and he can’t do it. And every episode has least one funny sketch in it. Like tonight Crystal plays all the roles in that infamous When Harry Met Sally scene.
If you like to laugh, then be prepared to do a lot of it during The Comedians.
Josh Gad shared a photo of Billy Crystal and himself on the set of their FX show The Comedians and I can’t get over how beautiful the Oscar host looks. Seriously, isn’t he sexy? Who knew?
To find out why he is dressed like that, we will have to tune in to their show starting on April 9th!
It has been a little over a month since we lost the great Robin Williams and his best friend, Billy Crystal, talked about him on The Tonight Show yesterday. He shared with Jimmy Fallon that they used to stay up late at nigth talking on the phone working on their comedy, and it was exhausting. Then he shared a story about the time that Michael Dukakis said that Mork was from Uranus and all hell broke loose in Robin’s magnificent mind. I mean, can you imagine saying that planet, out of all of them, to someone who as genius as Robin Williams. What was he thinking? Obviously he wasn’t.
I just love hearing Crystal talking about his true gem of a friend, that I wanted to make sure you heard it too.
