Sundays are funny again thanks to Fox!
September 25th, 2016 under Fox, The Simpsons, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

The Simpsons are back for a 28th season tonight at 8p on Fox, but something is missing. When that missing item is replaced, it destroys the Springfield. The Mayor promises to rebuild, but he doesn’t have the money. They ask Mr Burns to give them the money, but he has a condition. Will Lisa be able to fulfill to that condition or will she Lisa it?
The Simpsons might be 28, but it never gets old.

Then at 8:30p, Son of Zorn is going to learn about love from his dad. What can wrong? Everything. But by the end of the episode Zorn learns a little thing about love in this sweet episode of the original show that combines animated and live action.

Finally, Fox saved the best for last as in The Last Man on Earth. The season premiere at 9:30 picks up when their finale left off and the 3 men in radioactive protective suits are storming towards them. Our sensational six (Will Forte, Kristen Shaal, January Jones, Mary Steenburgen, Cleopatra Coleman and Mel Rodriguez) try to get away, but they are blocked in by Todd’s (Rodriquez’s) A-team van. They have no choice to confront the three men coming at them. When the mysterious strangers enter the house, Melissa (Jones) shoots one and it is a surprise A-List guest. He will not be back for another episode, but what about the rest of the cast? Are they destined for more episodes?
I won’t answer that, but I will tell you this is their funniest episode to date and they have all been pretty hysterical.

Even The Simpsons are playing Pokémon GO
July 16th, 2016 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

The Pokémon GO craze has gotten so crazy, it has even reached the animated world. Homer Simpson was seen playing it at the Zoo while Bart and Lisa got close to the animals. A little too close, but it is OK. Unlike Pokémon GO, The Simpsons can start over!
BTW how much do you want to bet we won’t even remember what Pokémon GO was by the time The Simpsons return to Fox on September 27th?

The Simpsons nail this Presidential season
February 21st, 2016 under Politics, The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

This year’s Presidential race has been a horror, a real nightmare. Well, The Simpsons had some fun and made that nightmare a reality. An animated one, but still a reality.
Hopefully if the Presidential candidates see this, they will begin to comprehend how much a horrible joke they have become. Maybe it will get them to turn their campaigns around.
But then again, they are all too far gone in their egos to realize how badly they are screwing up this country and not making it great again.
One more thing, if only Jeb Bush would knee Donald Trump in the balls, the World would be a much better place.

What is missing from this Sunday’s The Simpons’ Couch Gag?
February 11th, 2016 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

We have seen a lot of things during The Simpson‘s Couch Gags, but I don’t remember if the couch has ever left them in the 25 years that they have been doing this. This Sunday, that is what happens, and it is up to Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie to save it before it is too late.
Is this the end of the Couch Gags? You just have to watch to find out.

It’s time for The Simpsons’ 26th Treehouse of Horror!
October 25th, 2015 under The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

Believe it or not, but The Simpsons‘ Treehouse of Horror turns 26, yes XXVI tonight at 8p on Fox.
The episode starts out with a thrilling couch gag from Ren & Stimpy’s animator John Kricfalusi.
Then Sideshow Bob is back and he finally gets to kill his arch-nemesis Bart Simpson, over and over again. To see what that means you have to tune in.
Next up, Godzilla makes his debut on the show with Homer Simpson in the lead role. The segment ends with a sad, but true and funny conclusion.
Finally, Bart, Lisa and Milhouse get some supernatural powers after touching some green goo.
How will it end? And will the aliens be back? You just have to watch another great Treehouse of Horror to find out.
