Has Sting hit hard times?
October 2nd, 2023 under Hard times, The Police. [ Comments: none ]

I can’t remember the last time Sting has had a hit. And it looks like he is hitting the floor with a broom before he goes on stage at Roger’s Arena in Vancouver. So, has the stinger (get it?) hit hard times and has to work to play?

Of course not. He was just having some fun before he told his fans that he is the King of Pain.

Has Ed Sheeran hit hard times?
August 28th, 2023 under Ed Sheeran, Hard times. [ Comments: none ]

Ed Sheeran is on tour. Yet, he was seen working at Starbucks as a barista in Seattle. So, has the chart-topping singer hit hard times?

Nope. He just found a way to promote his upcoming album. You see, it is called Autumn Variations, and Starbucks just released the taste of Autumn, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. So he thought it would be the perfect way to promote his record while promoting their drinks of the season. And he was right.

Plus, if you are in Seattle, do what Seattleians do. Do Starbucks.

Autumn Variations comes out on September 29th.

Back to Sheeran. I love that he hangs out with locals at his different stops. He sang karaoke in Nashville, worked at a Lego Store in Minneapolis, and now this. What will he do next? We find out soon enough.

Has Ed Sheeran hit hard times?

Ed Sheeran was seen working as a Brick Specialist at the Lego Store in the Mall of America in Minnesota this weekend, so has the singer hit hard times?

Far from it. It is just what he does between gigs. He goes to a different business in each city and gets to know the folks in the town he is performing at. Therefore, bringing joy to the people who couldn’t get tickets to his sold-out concerts. He even sang karaoke with some of them in Nashville.

I wish more artists would do this. But they are not as cool as the guy with a few bad habits.

Has David Letterman hit hard times?
July 25th, 2023 under David Letterman, Hard times. [ Comments: none ]

David Letterman is pretty much retired. And some people who are semi-retired get jobs at grocery stores to be social and earn extra money.

The 76-year-old talk show host was seen training at Hy-Vee as a stock boy. So has he hit hard times? Nope. He is part owner of RLL Racing and Hy-Vee’s No. 45 car, and it was part of the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway the other day. So he was there promoting the race. Varoom, varoom.

And that is a good thing because he is not suited to stock shelves even if they put an apron on him.

Has Joey Fatone hit hard times?
June 20th, 2023 under Hard times, Joey Fatone. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember the last time I saw Joey Fatone in something.

But now it looks like he got a job working for AAA Insurance. So has the singer hit hard times? Far from it. He, along with New Kids on the Block’s Joey McIntyre, 98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey, and Boys II Men’s Wayna Morris, are in the promotional band Boys No More for AAA.

And they are climbing the charts with their song, Make It Right!

They are making so much money they can afford to get AAA Insurance!
