Watch this musical warning about Les Miserables movie!
March 26th, 2013 under Anne Hathaway. [ Comments: none ]

I have said from the beginning that I have no intention of seeing the movie Les Miserables because I hated the Broadway musical. Well ScreenJunkies has confirmed to me in their honest trailer that I will hate the Oscar winning movie more than the live show. Seriously don’t they make it look even worse than it is. And I love that they called out Anne Hathaway for only wanting to do this film because she wanted the Oscar that she eventually won for it.

BTWF ads: Anne Hathaway for Better Homes and Garden
February 14th, 2013 under Anne Hathaway, Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: 1 ]

via The Tonight Show
Before Anne Hathaway was moving into a palace in The Princess Diaries, her friend was moving away from her thanks to Better Homes and Garden. She looks the same now as she did when she was 14 in that 1997 commercial.

Les Misérables stood out On My Own at the box office!
December 26th, 2012 under Anne Hathaway. [ Comments: none ]

I know I am one of the very few people who has no intentions of seeing Les Misérables because I saw it on Broadway and I totally hated it. Now having said that, to me the only song I loved from it was On My Own and up until today, I had not seen or heard the movie version. Now that I have heard a majority of it, it is nice but not nice to get me to see the movie that earned $18 million on its opening day and Anne Hathaway an Oscar for cutting off her hair and starving herself for the role.

Nothing says Christmas like slaves and whores!
December 18th, 2012 under Anne Hathaway. [ Comments: none ]

Remember when Christmas movies were all about love and cheer, well this year it is about slaves and whores thanks to Django Unchained and Les Misérables. And instead of being about cheers, they about tears. So the two biggest stars from those movie had a Sad-Off on Funny or Die and I am not sure who won Anne Hathaway or Samuel L Jackson. Both of them had their sad points and their depressing points, so I am not sure either one can go home happy. Kind of like any movie goer who goes to see either one of their movies on the 25th for a Jewish Christmas. That is why I am going with Parental Guidance, it is a different kind of sad, a sadness I can live with. You know it is easier to accept that Billy Crystal and Bette Midler finally did a film together and that was a result than anything you will see in the two Oscar nominated tearjerkers. Yes they have not been nominated yet, but those fuddy-duddies like those type of movies that the rest of us don’t, so you know they will be vying for that little gold statuette!

Jimmy Fallon and Anne Hathaway destroy some holiday classics
December 12th, 2012 under Anne Hathaway, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday Anne Hathaway was a guest on Late Night and Jimmy Fallon had something special planned for her. He asked the audience to play Mad Libs with him, so that meant they each gave him a noun, an adjective and a verb and then the NBC host and the Oscar loser would sing Christmas Carols with those words.
I don’t know what it is about Fallon this Holiday season but he is a major Bah Humbug, first Tracy Morgan and him destroyed ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and now this. I am now going to call him Jimmy the Grinch until he changes the way he is ruining Christmas for me.
