George Michael sat down with The Sun and said something that is probably the truest thing I have heard him say about his music.
He said: “For a gay man I must be responsible for a lot of conception.”
All I have to say is Last Christmas is good for the holiday season and I will leave it there!
Forgetting what he said, wait until you see him this Thursday on the extremely enjoyable Eli Stone at 10p on ABC! (more to come on Eli Stone)

George Michael fined
July 11th, 2007 under George Michael. [ Comments: none ]

George Michael was fined £130,000 for going an unluckly 13 minutes over his time at Wembley show on June 9th according to NME. Wembley charges bands £10,000 a minute they go over their agreed end time of the show. No word if he will pay the fine, but if he does I respect him for putting his fans before his wallet.

When I lived in Atlanta I ushered concerts at an outdoor venue in a residential area and if a concert went past their end time they too were fined. On average most bands made sure they were out on time, but John Mellencamp would pay the fine before the show and say I am going over so here is your money! And I am so glad he did because his shows were always amazing, so if you get a chance to see him live do it! Respect the artists who respect their fans!!!

George Micheal gets community service
June 8th, 2007 under George Michael. [ Comments: none ]

George Michael was sentenced to 100 community service for driving while unfit through drugs according to AFP. He also will not be able to drive for 2 years, but he can afford chauffeur and he has a fiancee. George Michael told the reporters outside the courtroom, "I have been sentenced today on the basis of unfit driving through tiredness and prescription medicines, which I fully accept responsiblity for. I am glad to put this behind me and now I am off to do the biggest show of my life." I am glad after sentencing he made sure to mention his big concert at Wembley Stadium this Saturday. But Michael was much different when he spoke to the Judge, "I did something very stupid and I am very ashamed since doing it. I really have been very distressed by this whole thing. I am perfectly aware that I did something very wrong and got into my car when I was unfit to drive." I hope the paparazzi films him doing community service like they did when Boy George did it here in the States. How fun would that be to see him do that.

BTW note to Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan if you are going to drive drunk or do drugs do it London because you don't get jail time for it like you do here. Well sort of.

First Genesis, then Van Halen, then The Police and now Wham!?
February 19th, 2007 under George Michael. [ Comments: none ]

WHAM, bam, what’s the plan? I’m hearing strange things surrounding a WHAM! reunion. But I’m Your Man when it comes to keeping you in the know and I’ve been on the go go now for ages to work this one out. The buzz in New York is that GEORGE MICHAEL and ANDREW RIDGELEY will secretly fly to the US this summer to start recording new material. I also hear infamous proucer STEVE LILLYWHITE has been approached to work on the album too. But all this has been denied by George’s manager ANDY STEVENS. Despite the confusion, my music insiders reckon the comeback could be bigger than TAKE THAT’s.

News of the World

Please click on my sponsors, I really need the extra money to pay for all of these tickets!!! This is almost becoming to much for ’80 music fans to handle. OK, maybe not all of them, but I know for me it is becoming way too much to handle!!!
