ABC really hates Adam Lambert
December 3rd, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: none ]

ABC still hasn't forgiven Adam Lambert for his sh!tty performance of For Your Entertainment on the AMAs, so much so they cancelled him from two of his upcoming appearances on the network. Adam Lambert Tweeted, "Yes, sadly friends, ABC has cancelled my appearances on Kimmel and NYE. :( don't blame them. It's the FCC heat." So even in the wee hours of nights, he is still NSFABC. I guess ABC stands for AdamLamber Be Cancelled. He also said he will still appear on The Jay Leno Show even though ABC won't have him. The American Idol runner-up will be replaced by the person who came behind him (Allison Iraheta) on December 17th on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Personally I don't care about what he improvised during the AMAs, but that song and his singing offended me. I think ABC should get over it, but I think they are trying to send a message to future performers on their live shows, don't improvise on our network or you will never ever appear on it again.

Kara DioGuardi’s crappy song cut from the American Idol tour!!!
July 13th, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 3 ]

File this under Ha Ha!!! Kara DioGuardi’s crappy song No Boundaries, that was written for the winner of Season 8 of American Idol was cut from the tour because the fans hated it according to the LA Times.

Reviews of Season 8’s finale show widely trashed the victory number and the chilly reception has followed “Boundaries” onto the road. In reviews of the tour, “Boundaries” has been singled out as a misstep, generating a tepid crowd response compared with the other numbers.
The tour’s producers have been listening to the sound of few hands clapping

Wouldn’t it be nice if the producers would listen to us about Kara, the same way they did about that song and cut her as a Judge from the show? She has added nothing to the show, wasted time and a GA song. At least it looks like she won’t be writing another song for the show ever again after the extreme failure of No Boundaries, the worst AI winner song to date.
BTW Kris Allen will be singing another song in its place, which I am sure he is beyond happy to do!

Adam Lambert disses Clay Aiken
May 31st, 2009 under American Idol 1-5, American Idol 8. [ Comments: none ]

Last week Clay Aiken blogged about Adam Lambert’s Ring of Fire and said, “At that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening.” The next day Clay said, “I do apologize to Adam for my colorful (and negative) choice of words. I hope he can forgive me,” Clay wrote. “I imagine he doesn’t give a damn! :-) God knows he shouldn’t.”
Well fast forward to today when Access Hollywood asked him about Clay’s comments and he said, “I don’t know Clay…I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before.” Ouch! Those are fighting words! Adam should only wish his career is half as successful as Clay’s because I don’t think it will even be close to that.
BTW how long do you think it will take until these are working on Broadway together and are total BFFs?

The PTC has a problem with Kara DioGuardi
May 23rd, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 1 ]

(photo from Fox)

The PTC, you know the uptight parents who need a good lay, had a problem with American Idol’s finale.

The season finale of American Idol aired on Wednesday, May 20 and carried a TV-PG rating despite the fact that Fox producers used a charity donation to coax judge Kara DioGuardi into popping open her dress on national television. The show also included the gratuitous return of contestant Katrina Darrell, known to most as “bikini girl,” who showed up in her standard uniform to show off her new “enhancements.”

Seriously now the PTC has a problem with people in bikinis? Oy, they need to get a life because she is covered up and that is what there are going to see if they go to the pool or a beach.
And if the PTC really think she had a problem revealing what an awesome figure she has, they are sadly mistaken. I am sure she is the one that offered to do it.

And the American Idol 8 winner is…
May 21st, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: none ]

…us because it is over!!!
Actually I am very happy that Kris Allen won the title! What I liked about Kris is that he is an all around artist who plays instruments and can sing! I am actually interested to see what he does with his album, but he needs the right producer to create the perfect album for him.
I know lots of people are upset about Adam Lambert the shoe-in losing, but after he f*cked up Mad World the first time around I was done with him. And for those of you who are really sad about his loss, he will be fine and you can see him on Broadway very soon.
Here is another reason why I am so happy Kris won American Idol and Shawn Johnson won Dancing with the Stars, because all season the Judges have been shoving Adam and Gilles Marini down our throats as the winners and they didn’t win. Finally the viewers are revolting against them and people who had been working hard to earn their place in finals won the silver trophies and the title weren’t handed to them!!!

Kara DioGuardi’s American Idol song sucked as much as her judging
May 20th, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 6 ]

Forget about Kris Allen and Adam Lambert singing their 3 final songs on American Idol, the big news is how bad Kara DioGuardi’s co-written song for them was. Seriously No Boundaries had to be the wort one yet. All the others ones, as cheesey as they were, would still get stuck in your head. I forgot any part of it as soon as both boys were finished with it.
All season long, she has told the contestants I want to see what type of artist you are. After that we know what type of song writer she is…sh!tty.
Please Fox and American Idol admit you made mistake adding her as a fourth Judge and letting her co-write the song; and get rid of her and let her be a bad memory.
Now when it comes to who should win. I personally want Kris Allen because I think he is an all around musician, but maybe it is better he comes in second. When it comes to Adam Lambert, he will have a successful career on Broadway and that is not a bad thing.

Paula Abdul’s amazing gift for Scott MacIntyre!
May 9th, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 6 ]

Paula Abdul did an amazing thing for Scott MacIntyre, she gave him guide dog!!! Yesterday was the first day of National Guide Dog Month and she honored it by doing something wonderful!!! I am so touched by what she did, you can say what you want about her but she really does have a good heart!

Looks like Scott has two new friends for life!!!

Kara DioGuardi says she was only signed for 1 season of American Idol!!!

When TV Guide Magazine asked Kara DioGuardi if she was coming back for season nine of American Idol, she told them she wasn’t sure.

“I’m only here for one season,” Kara DioGuardi tells TV Guide Magazine exclusively. “That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they’ll keep me on.”

While I don’t wish anyone out of job, I personally would be so happy to see her go. She has added nothing to show, but time that has made the show go over because of her useless comments. I kind of wish they got rid of Randy Jackson and her, and just kept Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul as judges. Would anyone of you be sad to see her go?

The American Idol mansion haunted?
April 30th, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 2 ]

Is the mansion where the American Idol contestants living haunted? Well according to some ghost investigation questions conducted by People, it is.

“Some people are convinced that there’s a ghost there, especially Allison [Iraheta],” a skeptical Anoop Desai tells PEOPLE. “But I’ve never really seen her.”
It’s not just a matter of seeing “her,” according to Desai, who says the ghost, named Phyllis, is “just a friendly troublemaker. She bangs around and keeps people awake. Allison hears something in her room every night. I don’t know if someone’s just creeping around in there or what.”
Adds former contestant Lil Rounds: “I’ve never had any encounters with Phyllis, and I’m glad I didn’t, because I was in a room by myself, so I would’ve been totally freaked out.”
But that hasn’t stopped others from being spooked. “Allison said she lives in her room,” says Rounds. “She’s heard growls. I was like, ‘What?!’ It’s craziness. The rest of the girls swear they saw glimpses of her and different things like that, but I never saw it.”
As for how the witnesses describe Phyllis, Rounds reveals, “Like a white shadow walking across the room. I’m like, ‘Okay, you guys.’ “

Someone call in the crew from Travel Channel’s Most Haunted ASAP? They so need to do an investigation of the house before the season is over. Seriously this is the most interesting thing I have heard about season 8 so far. I say screw Slash as a mentor next week when the final four will do rock songs and just do segments about Phyllis! Now that would rock!
But then again maybe the ghost is the living legend Cloris Leachman trying to get back on reality TV, afterall she did play Phyllis on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and the spinoff?

WTF next week on American Idol Rat Pack standards?
April 23rd, 2009 under American Idol 8. [ Comments: 5 ]

(photo © Fox)

WTF are the producers of American Idol thinking by picking Rat Pack standards as theme for next week’s show? I am mean this is the most boring season ever and they are going to choose a theme that 75% of the audience won’t know most of the songs they are singing. And I am sure 100% of the 5 remaining contestants are like…who?
To make next week even worse they are digging Taylor Hicks up to perform on Wednesday’s show. Actually maybe it is good for the final five to see him because whoever wins this season will compete with him for worst selling American Idol winner.
Here is a positive note, at least we won’t have to sit through Lil Rounds again. Negative note Anoop would’ve been great.
Fox this is sweeps, you are suppose to make us want to watch not switch the channel. The themes and performers are suppose to be hip, not hip replacement.
For those of you trying to figure out who the Rat Pack were, here is a medley of some of their classic tunes.
