Sacha Baron Cohen is known as a man of many faces, but it is his real one that left him unrecognizable. The Bruno star was seen with longer hair and a thick beard and I never would have known it was him. Seeing him like that, I think I would recognize more as Borat and Bruno than as himself on the street. If he wants to avoid the paps all he has to do is be the real him and we would never guess it is the man of many disguises.
Even though it looks like he is part of that period movie, he is actually on the set visiting his girlfriend, Isla Fisher who is filming Burke & Hare.
David Letterman missed out by not having Sacha Baron Cohen dressed as Bruno the other night on the show because seeing him on the Today Show as his Austrian ego was so hysterical. It was like watching a great comedy sketch that you didn’t want to end. Plus Matt Lauer really held his own brilliantly. I am not sure I could’ve gone as long as he did without completely losing it. Seriously you have to watch the whole interview to see all the gems he came up with. I can’t wait to see what other politically incorrect jokes he has in Bruno that comes out tomorrow!
Sacha Baron Cohen has done something he hasn’t done since he began promoting Bruno, he did the Late Show with David Letterman as himself. After watching Sacha and not Bruno do the interview, I have to say it wasn’t as funny in fact it was borderline boring. I wonder why he changed things up? Like did Letterman’s people tell him they wouldn’t do the interview if he was Bruno? Just seems so weird to see him as is and not as the character for the movie he is promoting that out is on Friday? Did anyone else find it weird?
Last night Bruno premiered in LA, but the scene with LaToya Jackson was edited from the film after her brother’s death according to the Wall Street Journal.
During the scene, the character Bruno, played by comic Sacha Baron Cohen, creates a pretext to copy Michael Jackson’s telephone number from Ms. Jackson’s BlackBerry.
The edit appears to have been made on the fly, in the few hours between the pop star’s afternoon death and the 7:30 pm premiere.
As of now Universal does not plan on adding the scene back in before the movie comes out on July 10th.
I am so happy that both Universal and Bruno decided to respect Michael Jackson and edit the scene out.
Just like Jennifer Aniston did in January for GQ, Bruno took it all off to be the mag's latest Cover Girl! When it comes to who wore the birthday suit better, hands down that goes to Bruno. Besides being au naturale on the cover, he also did some flamboyant poses with some threads and took part in the most original Q&A you will ever read.
I have to admitted I totally hated Borat, but for some reason I can't wait to see Bruno. The movie looks freaking hysterical.

I opted to skip the MTV Movies Awards because for the last few years they have been extremely unfunny and the only funny part winds up on the net and this year once again did(n’t) disappoint!!! Sacha Baron Cohen aka Bruno came out just like Howard Stern did in 1992 bare butt and all and instead of landing on the stage like him, he landed with his face in Enimen’s crotch and Bruno’s burnt bleached butt in his face. While some are saying that Em’s reaction is fake, that is the Real Slim Shady’s ire over the situation. I think that MTV and Bruno planned the landing perfectly and I don’t think Em knew it was going to happen because if he did know no way in 8 Mile shot in hell would he have agreed to it. I guess we know one person who won’t be seeing Bruno this summer, not that it seems like he even knew who he was before he got to know him so intimately well.

A source revealed: “Sacha is committed to as much realism as he can muster in his films.
“He’d heard that all-over hairlessness is a popular trend in the gay community, so he thought he’d bleach all his hair so it looked invisible.
“But it quickly turned into a disaster.
“Shortly after having the procedure done he felt a burning sensation and it grew steadily worse.
“He had a bad allergic reaction to hydrogen peroxide, which is a strong bleaching agent.
“It was so severe around a certain part of his anatomy that he couldn’t sit down for three days.
“He had to make an emergency appointment with the doctors, who gave him some medication to counter the irritation.
“Crew members found the whole incident hilarious and it slowed down filming for a bit, but Sacha soon got over the discomfort.
“He has suffered no long-lasting ill effects.â€
Is it wrong for me to enjoy this story? I really hope they include this Bruno when it comes out on July 10th! If they do, I think that will be the scene that will have me laughing me loudest!!!
Too big movies released their trailers today and after watching Bruno, I actually want to see Fame! What did the new Fame people do to the old Fame song? I hope they destroy the classic as much as they did with the theme song. When it comes to Bruno it looks better than Borat, but that is not saying much for me because I hated Borat.
If you plan on going to either movie Bruno is out on July 10th and Fame will be out on September 25th!
I opted out of watching the Golden Globes, because I think they suck! Nothing I ever plan on seeing or watching ever wins, so I figure why give up 3 hours of my life to watch something I don’t care about. But one of the things I missed was Sacha Baron Cohen giving his speech before announcing who won Best Comedy. And let’s just say I am sure that speech was funnier than Vicky Christina Barcelona was throughout the whole movie.
And one other thing I missed according to Dlisted was Darren Aronofksy giving Mickey Rourke the finger he so rightfully deserved.
