He went wacko for Pinko!
May 26th, 2017 under The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Belz of Millerton, Pa had his dreams come true when he was asked to come on down at a taping of The Price Is Right. But then things only got better when he was asked to play Pinko with 5 pucks. Down went one puck and it landed on $10,000 then $1,000 then $10,000 then $500 and finally $10,000 for a third time. Giving him a total of $31,500, a record for regular Plinko on the daytime talk show.

While the dollar amount is exciting, it is more exciting to watch how excited he got every time he landed on $10,000. That is what makes his winnings a true winner!

Jack Black got knocked out during The Price is Right
February 21st, 2017 under Jack Black, The Price is Right. [ Comments: 1 ]

This week is charity week on The Price is Right and each day they are having a different celebrity on the show. Jack Black kicked it off yesterday, but he was taken down by a contestant who gave him a high-5. Their hands had impact, but then the contestant’s hand somehow hit the actor in the head and he fell to the floor. Of course, he was kidding but it was still funny to watch. I would say like his movies, but let’s be honest some have been horrible.

When it comes to charity week on The Price is Right, Wilmer Valderrama is on the game show today and Jane Lynch, Julie Bowen and Chris O’Donnell round out the week.

Aaron Paul makes The Price is Right his bitch!
February 2nd, 2017 under Aaron Paul, James Corden, The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

17 years ago, Aaron Paul was on The Price is Right and he lost the Showcase Showdown by going over just $200 on a car. Yesterday, he was onThe Late Late Show, that tapes in the same location as the game show, and James Corden gave him a chance to get his redemption.
They broke in the studio when they weren’t taping and the played the game as is. Just when they were almost in the clear, in walked Drew Carey. Would he get a chance to finally change that breaking bad experience or would the host ask the cops to come on down?
You guessed it, Carey gave him one more chance. How did go? As well as the ending went for Walter White.

Drew Carey’s new job on The Price Is Right
September 19th, 2008 under The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

Is Drew Carey adding announcer to his title for the new season of The Price Is Right when the show returns on Monday for its new season on CBS. Nope just him joking around, but looks like if he did he would need just a little more training. But as a host of the classic game show he did a better a job than I thought and I knew he was going to be amazing at it!

Whatever happened to the old Price is Right set?
December 5th, 2007 under Auctions, The Price is Right. [ Comments: none ]

CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT is donating six historical set pieces from television's longest-running game show for an online auction at www.charityfolks.com/paleycenter to benefit The Paley Center for Media. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Paley Center's ongoing efforts to increase the public's understanding of the media and its growing significance in today's society through various public and industry programs. Bidding will begin at 8:00 AM, ET Tuesday, Dec. 4 and last for two weeks, ending at 6:00 PM, ET on Monday, Dec 17.

They are auctioning off some really cool and big items from the set like the 3 door frames signed by Bob Barker, a lighted sign and the canvas used to hide the prizes and so far the prices are not that bad! Can you imagine owning one of the door frames from The Price is Right for $1,000. Not bad at all!
