Tonight on A&E at 10p Kirstie Alley has decided she wants to lose weight and she is going to do in front of the camera in Big Life. The Fat Actress star takes us inside her life and introduces us to her kids True and Lillie, her assistant Kelly and her friend Kyle that she brought on to work for and all of her many animals. Kirstie is not going to lose weight on her own, she is making her handy man of sorts Jim to do it with her.
At the end of the first episode Kirstie weighs herself and she makes her assistants give her weight in stones so it won’t seem as bad. They tell her she weighs 16.5 stone and she has a fit because 16.5 stone is equal to 230 pounds. But then she tells them to tell her how much she wants to weigh and for them to figure how much she wants to lose in stone and that eases her for a while. You will have to watch to see what her goal weight is. At the beginning of the second episode that airs tonight at 10:30p we find out how much Jim weighs. Let’s just say he wants to lose 130 pounds which is less than Kirstie. The two start the diet in the second episode and hire a personal trainer. By the end of tonight one of them will already break the diet, do you think you know which one it will be?
Besides her attempt to lose weight we get to see the real Kirstie Alley. If you were a fan of Fat Actress, you are going to love this show because she really is like her character on that show but even more. So tune in to A&E tonight at 10 and 10:30p for a celebrity reality show that is worth watching!!!
Can you believe that Keira Knightley thinks she is twice the size of other Hollywood actresses? Well according to Digital Spy that is exactly how she feels.
Knightley is quoted as saying: "Weight is a big issue in Hollywood because I'm twice the size – height and everything else – of most of the girls who are going in to see the director for a part.
"When you realise that I am, at my size, one of the largest actresses there, you start to think, 'I don't think it'd be healthy for me to stay here much longer.'"
I think she is delusional when it comes to being twice the size of the other people that she is auditioning with are half her size. I live in Los Angeles and I have seen very few actresses that look as skinny as she does in those photos. When it comes to second quote at least she is looking at the health effects of it all. Maybe it will be enough for her to put on a few pounds.
Keira knightley’s swashbuckling days are over for good. The Oscar-nominated actress shoots her last scene today as pirate wench Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films and she has told the movie’s producers that she doesn’t want to participate in any further sequels. Keira’s co-star in the series, Johnny Depp, has already said that he would consider playing the ramshackle pirate Captain Jack Sparrow – famously modelled on Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards – as long as the scripts remained good. Depp has an added incentive to carry on with the films because he’s getting a share of the lucrative Jack Sparrow merchandising. The third instalment, At World’s End, has been shooting on and off for a year. (Production shut down at one point because of bad weather.) In between filming, Keira was nominated for a best actress Academy Award for Pride And Prejudice, attended various Knightley: Buckled her last swash premieres of Dead Man’s Chest: Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 (the DVD of which comes out on November 20) and then made Atonement, with director Joe Wright. Shooting resumed in late summer and Keira was reunited with Depp and some of England’s finest actors (and most notorious mickey-takers); men such as Bill Nighy, Mackenzie Crook, Tom Hollander and Jack Davenport. "I’ve been playing this girl since I was 17," Keira told me on the set of Atonement. "I’m 21 now and I’m onto very different things, but it’s fun to try to invest Elizabeth with some rebellious spirit. "But what I’m doing in Atonement is very different. I mean, she is a grown-up woman!" Keira is far too polite to say, but I suspect that she won’t be sorry to say goodbye to Elizabeth Swann.
