Back in 1998 an unknown actress named Katie Holmes became a star in a little show called Dawson’s Creek, now 8 years after the show ended she told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America if she is up for a reunion with Joshua Jackson (Fringe), James Van Der Beek (Apartment 23) and Michelle Williams (My Week with Marilyn). Suri’s mom said, “It would be fun. I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories. A really great group of people.” Well now that Katie is on board, hopefully Kevin Williamson will find some time in between The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle to write a reunion episode and we can really what happened during those missing years that they showed in the finale. Forget Friends, I would rather have this cast reunite!!!
James Van Der Beek who announced his wedding and baby news on Twitter did it again last night by declaring, “Just when we thought we couldn’t feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling… #humbled” Although looking at these pictures from last night, I think the news was pretty obvious. What’s also obvious is how excited they are to be parents again and I am sure 13 month old Olivia can’t wait to be a big sister1
Busy Phillips daughter Birdie gave her mom a makeover and I think the three year old has a future in the makeup business! Seriously if the girl who just celebrated her third birthday a month ago can paint the Cougar Town actress’ face that good at her age, imagine what she will do when she is 4!!!

James Van Der Beek is an internet sensation not because he was the star of Dawson’s Creek, but because of a gif of him crying on the show. Well Dawson Leery is finally able to make fun of himself about it and has created the website James Van Der Memes and shot a promo for it on FunnyOrDie. On the site you can see him recreate that overacting emotion 10 years later along with several other facial expressions like the two below. Who doesn’t love seeing his O-Face and his No You Didn’t one? After checking out all his facial performances, I want to know why he doesn’t have an Emmy?
On September 25th James Van Der Beek became a dad for the first time and now he is showing her off in People Magazine! Besides debuting his awwwdorable baby girl, they explained how Olivia got her name. The Dawson’s Creek star was given full control when it came to naming her, but he waited until she came out before he decided what to call her. He looked at her and thought she looked like Olivia and he explained, “there’s an olive tree in Israel that’s special to us,” adds Kimberly, “We spent time under it when we first met in Israel, then we went back to this tree when I was pregnant.” How sweet.
In case you couldn’t tell by the red string bracelet on her arm, they study Kabbalah and that is how the two met.
James Van Der Beek Tweeted the above picture and said, “At last, @mp_gosselaar & I face off, proving to each other that we are, in fact, not the same person.” I never realized there was any confusion about the two until he posted the picture of Dawson Leery and Zack Morris together. So Mark Paul is in the grey suit and James is in the blue one or is it the other way around? I am so confused now.
Actually I can tell the two of them apart (I think) and the Saved By the Bell star and the Dawson’s Creek one look great together!
James Van Der Beek Tweeted that his wife Kimberly Brook gave birth to their first child. He said, “Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters. Olivia Van Der Beek, born 9/25. I apologize in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad tweets that may follow. I’m under her spell…” I think it is so cute how excited he is to be a daddy. I am sure he is going to spoil her and she will have him wrapped around her little finger.
BTW I have become a huge fan of his because he breaks his news like that he is going to be a father, that he got married and now that his baby was born on Twitter and he didn’t have his people break it in People like everyone else.
UPDATE: As I was posting this Dawson Leary just Tweeted, “If I watch football w/ my daughter now, she’ll like the sounds of the NFL & want to watch it w/ me when she’s older #momdoesntthinkso”. And so it begins…
Before Kevin Williamson was behind the camera with shows like Vampire Diaries and movies like Scream, he was in front of the camera in In Living Color. I think the 26 year old did a great job in that 1991 bit, although the mad today disagrees with me because Kevin Williamson Tweeted this, “Why I gave up acting.
