RIP Joseph Mascolo
December 9th, 2016 under Obits, TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

Joseph Mascolo passed yesterday at the age of 87 from Alzheimer’s according to Soap Opera Digest.
In 1982, he took on the role that forever changed his life. He began playing Stefano DiMera, the man who wouldn’t die on Days of our Lives. Sadly, he is unlike his character.
Even though he played a villain, people still loved him. Today, let’s show him how much we love him by watching him come back to life over and over again on DOOL.

Will Steve Burton go back to General Hospital?
October 7th, 2016 under TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

Steve Burton made an announcement on Twitter yesterday that will be CBS Soap Opera fans very happy. The Young and the Restless star Tweeted, “Hey everyone, with lots of reflection, I have decided to move on from @YandR_CBS at the end of my contract in Dec. I’ve had an amazing time, but it feels right to move on to new adventures in my life. I can’t say enough about the AWESOME cast and crew. Much respect!”
Now, ABC Daytime Drama fans have to wonder if that next adventure will be to revisit an old one. Yes, Jason has been recast on General Hospital, but is there really any other Jason besides him?

Susan Lucci is splishing and splashing in a bubble bath!
September 14th, 2015 under Susan Lucci, TV Soaps. [ Comments: 4 ]

Since All My Children ended, we have not seen Susan Lucci in a bubble bath. Even though, Erica Kane is 68 years old, she can still make every bubble in that bubble bath pop. In fact, she can also still make every men’s, you know what, still pop.
Seriously, like a fine wine, the Queen of Daytime, only gets better with age.

Is Susan Lucci really 68 years old?
February 28th, 2015 under Susan Lucci, TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

Susan Lucci shared a photo of herself on a plane with her husband, and I can’t get over how young she looks. She is 68 years young, but she looks like someone half her age. I want to know how the Soap Opera Queen does it.

David Letterman going from late night to daytime?
October 10th, 2014 under David Letterman, TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

David Letterman is retiring from late night television some time next year, and it appears that he is already looking for his next job. Yesterday on The Late Show he used his time to audition for The Young & The Restless because the CBS late night host heard they were hiring. So how did he do? The CBS soap opera Tweeted this today, “YOU’RE HIRED, DAVE!”
I think he is going to be great as Nikki and Victor’s secret teenage daughter!
Will you watch him on the daytime drama?
